Brio — Restaurant in Samre Subdistrict

We visited this restaurant on 9 and 11 Dec 2017 and we won't be going back again.

The first visit was ok, the waitress completely forgot our order for lasagne for our son. The staff provided a complimentary substitute dish which was an acceptable solution.We has an amazing fettucine with salaiccia and truffle but this was not made table side in the parmesan wheel as advised in the menu.

On our second visit we tried to order the same fettucine dish, however they were out of salsiccia so we ordered the same dish but with porcini mushrooms and made in the parmesan wheel. It was a huge disappointment as the dish was bland and tasteless. When we asked about the dish, it turns out the parmesan wheel was not available at all and they tried to substitute a terrible mushroom sauce. Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice, but you can't disguise a terrible tasting dish.

The wait staff are nice, but the service is extremely slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty both times. The menu is a little pricey as expected for a tourist restaurant, bu it isn't...

A mistake we made on Christmas was having lunch here. The foods were tasteless.

We ordered an Angus steak (1,800++) which tasted weird. I think it’s not good Angus beef or it may be Meltique.

The other dishes also tasted cheap.

The weirdest thing was their black truffles, thick slices, but NO AROMA “at all”. I didn’t smell anything. I also asked 3 waitresses about this. But I got no answer back.

I don’t even like their olive oil and balsamic.

The service should be improved.

(น้ำดื่มค่อนข้างแพงเมื่อเทียบกับราคาตลาด น้ำดื่มช้างขวดพรีเมี่ยมขายขวดละ 200 บาท 700mL ข้างนอกสามารถหาซื้ิอได้ในราคา 50-60 บาท เพิ่มอีกนิดดื่มไวน์ น่าจะคุ้มกว่า มีขายไวน์ราคาต่อแก้วด้วยเริ่มต้นแก้วละ 350++)

ส่วนอาหาร รสชาติอร่อยถูกปาก มีหลายรสชาติเลือกได้ตามเมนูสารพัดรสชาติ

บริกรน่ารัก ใส่ใจดี ทยอยเสิร์ฟ ทานได้ไม่อั้น ไม่จำกัดเวลา เริ่มจากเมนูขนมปังแบบอิตาเลียน เนื้อหนึบเหนียวอร่อยดี ทานคู่กับน้ำมันมะกอก+น้ำราดที่มาในจานพาสต้า เข้ากันมาก

พิซซ่าแป้งบางกรอบแต่ขอบแอบหนาไปนิด รับได้คับ เพราะอร่อยถึงรสสไตล์อิตาเลียนแท้ๆ อบในเตาให้เห็นทีละจาน นวดแป้งทำสดๆ ตรงนั้นเลย ส่วนพาสต้ามีสารพัดซอส เลือกทยอยชิมแต่ละเมนูทีละจาน เด็ดมากสำหรับพาสต้าเลิฟเวอร์

ขนมได้สั่งมาสองรายการ ทิรามิสุ รสชาติเนียนนุ่มละมุนมาก อร่อยมากสมกับราคาที่ค่อนข้างสูง อีกรายการไม่ขอพูดถึงไม่แนะนำ (ต้องสั่งกาแฟร้อนมาดื่มคนละถ้วยมาช่วยล้างกลิ่นหืนขนม ซึ่งทางร้านไม่คิดเงินค่ากาแฟ ตรงนี้ขอขอบคุณที่ใส่ใจบริการ)

ในเรื่องบรรยากาศ ในร้านโล่งสบาย ไม่แออัด เสียงดนตรีเบาๆ ที่ขอติคืออยากให้มีห้องน้ำในร้าน (สะดวกกับการล้างมือหรือทำธุระส่วนตัวมากกว่า)

เชฟและบริกร ให้ความใส่ใจ ติดตามสอบถามถึงความประทับใจหลังการทาน ดีมากๆครับ

สรุปค่าอาหาร+บริการ ทานกันสามคน 3300 บาท รวมทุกอย่างแล้ว

หารต่อคน ต้องมีประมาณ 1100-1200 บาทครับ (หากดื่มน้ำเปล่าเยอะ ก็จะจ่ายแพงขึ้นไปอีก ขวดละ 200 รวมๆไป ก็จะทำให้ service charge สูงขึ้นเป็นเงาตามตัว)

ที่ไปใช้บริการครั้งนี้ น้ำดื่ม 2 ขวด 400 บาท + service charge 400 บาท = 800 บาท ถ้าหักจากยอด 3300 บาท เท่ากับว่า เฉพาะค่าอาหาร+ขนม ~ 2500
