Longtail River Bar and Lounge — Restaurant in Samre Subdistrict

My girlfriend and I were planning to have a great evening together, but unfortunately luck was not on our side. We made a reservation to make sure we would have a table. When we arrived we were surprised that no one knew anything about the reservation. What should have been a romantic dinner together ended up in a ruined evening. I got my order pretty soon, but my partner her steak just wouldn't come. My partner told me to start eating and not let it get cold. By the time I was almost done she was informed they had no more steaks. I couldn't believe what I just heard!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ My partner reordered and she got her meal 35 minutes after I was done. I told the waitress I was very not amused by this. In the end this not just some street food stand. When we were done eating and full, we suddenly got a plate of fruits as a compensation for the missed chance. I would recommend the staff to ask first before serving something to your guests what they can't eat anymore. One after the other mistakes kept stacking up. In the end I got a 15% discount on my totally overprized beer. The evening was ruined by then... They're not going to see...

Dear Executive of Longtail and all customers who may reading this,

I will tell you all that it is my first time here at Longtail and I must admit that this experience is gonna be thing I can't forget.

The music is good. Beverage is great. And the staffs here are perfect! I was treated nicely as one of the staff take effort to find the seat for me even without reservation. With their excellent service mind, they treat me with caring, sentimentality, and sense of humour even in my worst day.

For my recommendation, take a seat at the bar and talk to the staff, you will find the greatest experience could not be found in other bars.

Beautiful setting, but service was bad and food was just okay. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 main dishes. The appetizers came after about 40 minutes (with 1 of the main dishes), then the other 2 main courses came about about 1 minute later. We said that the appetizers are supposed to come first, and then they said okay we'll send them back and make new ones when you are ready. They definately just kept the food under a hot lamp and did not remake it. The prawns on the pad thai were severely overcooked, and there was barely any meat at all in them, probably because half of the meat burnt under the heat lamp and they just scraped it off. Cocktails we're inconsistent and they messed up the bill. Would definately not...
