Asiatique Ferry Service to Sathon Pier — Local services in Wat Phraya Krai Subdistrict

Loved the Ferry ride from Asiatique. Although I feel like I was scammed into paying 40 baht initially to get to Asiatique. Not realizing there was a free Ferry, until my return. Not complaining though, the 40 baht was worth riding on the upper deck of the boat. Only problem, in returning there was a lot of activity going on (2024/17/12) that had exceedingly long lines for dinner cruises intermingled with the line for Sathon Pier. It was confusing to say the least. If there were clear signs posted for each, instead of people walking around with hand signs, that may have quelled the misunderstanding.

This review is for the free shuttle ferry service to sathon pier . We waited forever , no staff is there to help . False information regarding schedule and punctuality of free shuttle ferry . A really poor management by Thailand tourism and asiatiqur. Piers are monopolised by cruise company. Nearby local workers did not help at all. No nearby train service as well. Nothing much going on here actually, most of the shops are closed even on a sat night. Most likely it's due to covid. Some restaurants are open though, quite romantic actually, u can enjoy the breeze and view over chao praya river, one of the restaurant even had a live band.
