Aubergine Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Si Lom Subdistrict

Overhyped. Mediocre. Worst interpretation of French cuisine.Not worth the cost. Table service staff reached across the table to place food and clear dishes. Blue at Icon Siam is French cooking and service... this is a really poor attempt. Butter served ice cold! Truffle foam was broken and served as a couple bubbles on the cup of mushroom soup. Asparagus rolled in sliced beef served lukewarm with plenty of flavorless brown sauce to moisten the dry meat. The gritty chocolate dessert has the texture of instant pudding not mixed completely. The sorbet, too sour with the bitterness of the rind flavor. You would think the prix fix menu would be a showcase of their best... but it was a big disappointment.

Best part of dinner was the house and hot bread basket. Spend a little more and get REAL French cuisine at Indigo, Jaime,JP French,Allium,Brasserie 9, or chef's table... you will feel a much better vibe...

Safely one of the best French spots in Bangkok. Service was gorgeous and the staffs were very caring. The place is located in a nice warm home with its nice little garden. All dishes were amazing, understandably with their high prices. My favourite has to be Tuna Tartare, of which I would rank as the best French style tuna tartare I have ever had in Thailand. Its apple pie was one of the best I have had as well.

Great place to dine with your special ones. Totally worth the price.

It was a terrible restaurant. The service, food, and environment were all very bad. I went there on Valentine’s Day and had pre-ordered the menu through LINE, but when I arrived, I was told that what I reserved was no longer available. The place was extremely crowded. Although they charged a 10% service fee, there was no service at all. Even getting water required reminding them after finishing my glass.

There was a short, chubby male waiter who provided terrible service, along with four very clueless female waitresses. It was an awful experience. I hope no one else has to go...
