Our recent visit to Benjarong Bangkok - Baan Dusit Thani was an unforgettable dining experience, deserving nothing less than a full five-star rating.
From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a unique blend of tradition and luxury that sets this restaurant apart. Set in a beautifully restored Thai house, the location itself is an experience. With its sophisticated ambience and meticulously maintained premises, it was an absolute pleasure to dine here.
The culinary offerings at Benjarong truly represent the best of Thai cuisine. Every dish we tried was delicious and showcased the complexity and finesse of Thai flavors. Not only was the food delectable, but it was also beautifully presented, turning each course into a visual feast.
Perhaps the most memorable part of our visit, however, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in providing an unparalleled dining experience. Their recommendations were spot on, and their gracious hospitality significantly elevated our visit.
In summary, Benjarong Bangkok - Baan Dusit Thani is a must-visit for anyone seeking to indulge in a sublime Thai dining experience. From the quality of the food and the venue to the outstanding service, every aspect of our visit was impressive. We are eagerly looking forward to...
Read moreReally disappointed with my visit. The sharing set that we ordered came mostly cold, and generally was bland tasting or overcooked, in particular the roast pork and steamed crab egg custard which I added on a la carte.
I really tried to like the food but as every dish came I ran out of excuses to tell myself. I understand if we’re foreigners and might not be accustomed to Thai flavours. But the issue was that the components of each dish weren’t even executed and cooked properly. Flavours were generally fine just having dry pork, deer skewers that couldn’t be chewed, or just being either overcooked or bland completely ruined every dish.
I’d also be completely fine if there was good service, but everyone was courteous except one waitress who was condescending and barely put any effort into service. Took no effort to explain each dish that arrived, and I had to look up the menu online just to know what I was even eating.
I’m only giving 2 stars because the head chef that came out was apologetic about the disappointing food, and generally the location was beautiful, but otherwise I highly discourage anyone from...
Read moreI gave one star due to the service.
The food was okay, but the prices were high for the small portion sizes.
I was disappointed with the service. Despite reserving a table by the window, upon arrival—when the restaurant was mostly empty with only one other table occupied—they seated my mother at a corner table that was both isolated and hot.
It was so hot that we were sweating and had difficulty breathing due to the lack of air in that corner.
After finishing our meal, I asked the staff why my mother was seated there despite our reservation. They merely apologized, stating that the window-side tables were reserved but had been canceled. Coincidentally, all reserved tables were canceled at that time?
Even though I complained, the manager who were around there did not attempt to address the situation or offer an apology. For a restaurant of this high reputation, I expected better management and customer service.
This dining experience was disappointing, as I had hoped for better service at such an establishment
