After seeing the photos on Instagram ads I had high expectations. The cashier and other employees were up beat and friendly which is a nice change from the usual Thai customer service experience. I order the Becky classic scrambled eggs and bacon bagel. They were out of the cheddar bagel so opted for the garlic onion. Cashier told me the price 250 but I said 230? He confirmed. I paid with QR. When the sandwich came out i unwrapped it and it was quite smaller than the standard bagel shop bagels you would get in the USA. The taste was just ok. Didn’t really stand out. The problem is they charge western prices for 40% smaller portions than you would get in the USA. While I guess I understand most Asians like smaller portions it doesn’t really make sense to pay the high prices for a much smaller product. Especially once you consider the wage here is 10% of the USA. I get it you’re probably thinking ok we’re not in the USA but nonetheless felt the product is overpriced for size and taste. Another negative is an employee came over and asked to remove my plate and I said no please leave it. I wasn’t done sitting there and don’t like when the remove your plate before you leave as it’s a way to get you to leave. Despite saying no please leave it the employee took it anyways ignoring what I said. I guess why ask at that point? Not a big deal but definitely annoying. Overall it’s a trendy local spot that comes from Singapore and the locals seem to enjoy it. If you’re a foreigner you maybe a bit pickier like me. 3 stars because friendly employees nice environment...
