I've only been here just a couple time and already got the poor service manner from the staff. Food is ok while the dessert & drink are enjoyable. However, things got worse when we went downstairs for more drinks & toast. We ordered toast and drinking water and ice. A staff told us that they don't sell ice separately but we can get our cup for a free refill. We went back to our table and found that my friend's cup was missing. We went back to the staff, refill my cup with ice, and informed them that one of our cups was missing and ask for the new one. Instead of helping us, they kept on declining & insisting that without the glass we have to buy the new drink (even we already bought the drinking water). We were sure one of the staff throw our cup away because there was one who was cleaning the tables nearby. The head of the staff or manager (not sure) insists that the staff will never throw our stuff away with our belongings at the table. I asked them to check on the CCTV for confirmation. They kinda smirked back at me and answered with the arrogant tone that it's not the staff. It took awhile for the manager to check and accept that it's the staff who throw our glass away. At the end, with no apology, he informed us that normally they don't sell nor refill the ice for free and it's not the staff fault throwing the empty cup away. If you have the policy not to give a new cup to customers when buying drinking water then you shouldn't just throw their cup away when they're still at the shop without asking nor permission. I hope, with my comment, the staff team will learn to change their attitude and manner towards any customers for any issues. It's not wrong to defend or protect your people. All you need is to do it in the...
Read moreCan't really recommend if you're white / a foreigner. Counter staff was pretty unfriendly, didn't understand any English AT ALL. Does not accept cash, only credit / debit cards (well a bit strange, but okay). Just had a feeling I'm not very welcome here as foreigner. Also I heard music with headphones and somebody complained in a pretty rude way my music would leak out. Come on, I was wearing headphones and I heavily doubt it was THAT loud - nobody ever complained in the past. There were some people making a lot of noise by moving chairs around btw. or a girl that had a phone call for over 30 mins going on in a pretty loud voice. In general it's pretty quiet here, but I often heard people talking to each other. Pretty sure that's louder than my music (with headphones!). But of course they were Thais and not foreigners. My advice: Just don't go here if you're not Thai.
Drinks are of average quality. Not...
Read moreThe place is very close to MRT Samyan Station, the building can be visible from the street but the entrance is a little bit hidden and need to walk through the diner on the ground floor. No bad smell so far as some reviews have claimed.
Large windows at the front make the place quite warm during the day, though it might be cold at night. Inside is very quiet as most customers come here to study and work on their laptops, this is why the place is popular among college students.
There are not enough power outlets for laptops and wifi password can only be used for 3 hours, better for just to read books.
Snacks and drinks tasted okay overall with reasonable price, I really recommend the Nutella Cookie.
Staffs are still lack of ability to communicate in English. More benefits to Thai customers.
However, no cash accepted, can only pay by...
