The Green Massage — Local services in Suriyawong Subdistrict

It was my first Thai massage and first time in Bangkok. The staff were very friendly and accommodating since they closed at 12:00 AM.

My fiancé and I got the 2 hour massage: 1 hour foot and 1 hour Thai body massage. My fiancé left the establishment with a knot in her back. My masseuse I believe was new as he had a sticker for his name tag. I had some huge knots on my back and I felt the masseuse only spent no more than 5 minutes on my back. I felt like I paid for a 1.5 hour foot massage and the last half hour felt like he was dragging on the time to finish. Spend about 10 minutes on my arms, 10 minutes for a head and neck rub that felt he was just running his fingers through, 5 minutes on my back and 5 for stretching. Although I asked for stronger and harder on my back, I received acknowledgment but nothing stronger. The masseuses were also lurking at the door for a tip at the end of the night in which I had every intention of providing them tip. I gave each 50 baht for their troubles.

If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, I don’t know if this is the place to go. They will be able to sniff out tourists. I would have given 1 star but their manager was polite and accommodating which is...

We spent a week in Bangkok and went to The Green Massage 3 times. Had a foot massage, Thai massage and oil massage and the last day a body scrub and massage. I really enjoyed the Thai massage. All the masseuses were really friendly . The language barrier is a bit tricky 🤣 . A special thanks to the lady at the door and to Kla and New. Will definitely be back. I have read some reviews that mentioned that they were short changed on time this never happened to me. The room does not have private showers like some of the other places , but the showers and bathroom are nice and clean. We will definitely be back. 3 months later and we are back. Sadly this time it was a bit of a disappointment. Even booking two weeks in advance and arranging for the same masseuse we had previously. We arrived and not one of them was available. Both the masseuses we had unfortunately had very little knowledge of how to give a decent massage. From the first experience being at the top end of the scale this one is completely the opposite. Will maybe give it one more...

I'd been waiting for the oil massage for at least 30mins on the 29th of May. And the women who seemed like in charge of the shop said there's no any other surcharge, only 500B for 1 hour oil massage. I accepted and waited.

After the oil massage, the masseur, Wong, kept asking for tips. I was willing to give him before he asked. But the masseur kept saying he needed more than I've given him. Of course I refused to give him more than I thought it's reasonable. The masseur, Wong, kept shaking his head and complaining about the tips until I left the shop. What a bad attitude and service that I experienced! The tips suppose to up to the customers, not what you ask for how much!

First, I had been waiting for at least 30mins to get the massage service. Second, the masseur stole the time of an hour oil massage. It wasn't an hour, it's less than an hour. Third, the masseur, Wong, kept asking for more tips.
