This place is popular among both, locals and tourists. Free tables will go away quickly especially during peak time before 8pm. I came here the first time to have fried garlic chicken with rice and the next day for Pad Thai. The food is really delicious and, at least from my perspective, really authentic (particularly the Pad Thai, the signature dish of Thailand, was on the point and I enjoyed it a lot). This place seems to be run by a family and everyone of them was incredibly friendly and I felt welcome here from the first minute. A clear recommendation if you are staying in Sukhothai Old Town. They got 2 different menu, make sure check on the Thai language one and order from it.

If any food material is sold out, do not switch to different material. For example pork rice to beef rice. Don’t touch any food until they serve everything, check they are all the same thing from your order and exactly the same price on the menu. Pay your bill and grab your change, double check with other customer’s order and make sure you get same size/amount food served. Not 2 shrimps in your noodle and locals get 30 in their bowl. Sadly the food was the worse Iv eaten in Thailand after travelling here many years... I wouldn't call it Thai, we ordered Penang curry, chicken in curry sauce, fish, mushroom salad and it was all un edible. Do not waste your money here! Go to Sureeat restaurant 2 mins walk from there for authentic proper Thai food!! And then to try to con you with two different menus and overpriced for us Farang on the tables just...
