Janthong — Restaurant in Sukhothai Province

We decided to check out this place for breakfast because we noticed there were always a bunch of locals eating here.

And yes, it was delicious! We loved it so much we came back for lunch, and breakfast the following day. We especially loved the Sukhothai Noodle Soup. The portions are not extra big, but the prices are also small. We enjoyed this, because it allowed us to taste different things.

The place is simple but pleasant with the fans. You can see them cooking, and I liked the higiene in the cooking area.

This is your typical thai food hole in the wall. The food is excellent and cheap. 50b for soups. Large Beer 100b. Sukhotthai soup is really good. Had it twice while in town 3days. Good friendly service. I didnt use the toilet so i cant comment. The walls and floor are a bit dingy and could use a scrub. Compared to all the overpriced tourist places. This place...

We came here because it has an English menu and high review ratings. Also because several other places around the area with English menu is closed. Food here is cheap - 50 THB for most dishes. We ordered a bowl of noodles each and were impressed by both the portion size and amount of vegetables in them. The noodles were tasty too. It is a little dark in the restaurant but it is spotlessly clean....
