We were a bit confused on how to get there ( we were driving with a car) Didnt have lots of food. More drinks. Had a caramel iced latte and it wasn't the best. However the place is really good to just chill and have a drink and go for swim in the waves. Speaking of waves, we were there between November-December and the waves were quiet "big". Not suitable for kids to go swimming. Nothing to do with the restaurant but it's necessary to point out for the kid's safety. They have bean bags and umbrellas. Aaand they provide towels. They even have kids towel with elephant on it. Not that it's important, but the fact that the kids had their own towels was thoughtful. They also have a massage parlor (starting from 300 baht) Staffs were very friendly. Unfortunately i couldn't put my crawling 10 months old down on the sand because there were shattered glass and Styrofoams.. As a parent i couldnt really sit back and relax. But other than that, still a cool spot to...
Read moreIn 2013 we found this unique, beautiful place at Lamai beach for the first time...🌴🏖️😊 And everytime we return to Samui, we go back there! Lamai beach has changed over the years, but the Black Pearl has kept its familiar and cozy atmosphere! The "lady boss" and also the staff always recognizes us, when we sneak around the corner and everytime it's an overwhelming "Welcome back"!!🥲 Also the staff changed sometimes, but there's one special guy, who keeps the "Black Pearl" running through all the years...Our friend Yao...This guy is so special and unique...always friendly, helpful, though he is busy sometimes! 🙏🏃 Thank you so much, Yao!! But the whole staff is fantastic, the food is delicious and you can use the sunbeds (towels included) for free. The lady boss created the "Black Pearl" into the loveliest place at Lamai beach, the beach there is always clean and tidy.🏖️😊 All in all we always feel like "coming home"... Thank's a lot for everything!!!🥰...
Read moreIt's a great restaurant, food is good, atmosphere wonderful and the service is nice and prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. I'm typically pretty easy going and patient but I simply left. I would assume that I'm not the only one in that situation. You got a good restaurant just tell the waiters to look at the customers, especially when they have an open menu in...
