Would love to share my experience with the place. I saw at fb many times this place promote itself so I decided to spent a day by the beach here. Beach club it was mention. I came, notices a nice tree on the parking. Went inside. Met a lady in age. Asked is the place open was answered it is. Went deeper inside, met staff a guy. He asked me where I want to sit I said I have no idea first time here. But actually I do prefer a beach bed cuz the radon I came to spend a time by the beach swim pool whatever. Thé place don’t have swim pool but have beach beds down in the beach. It was very dirty beach. Not a pleasure at all to sit in the middle of garbage. I asked if the place is being cleaned somehow. Was answered unexpected rude from this guy like I do clean everyday and everyday it came again. Oh ok sorry for asking I just thought beach supposed to be clean at beach club. He gave me menu and leaved with words something like if I will need something I shall to come and find him. Really? Interesting. I asked came in 5 min. After I trying to call him of course no one is lookin at station for customers. Finally he came like a mougly jumping from restaurant to the beach. I found his manners kinda weird for staff but probably owners found it charming but not me for sure. I asked for brunch option it was not available not Sunday, ok. Asked for fresh orange juice he said no have. I asked Macro is just opposite to buy it. /Obliviously better do not do stop list/, he said owners won’t to buy not too much customers. I asked which fresh juice is available he said no fresh juice (but menu written FRESH JUICE), juice is from package. He started to punch me to order mango or pineapple shake which I won’t. I do not drink ice shakes. I tried to explain it’s different and at this moment happen something weird. He start to talk something like I should to be grateful here is free beach bed and towel for me. Exusemeee, siiir, I came to the beach club. It supposed to be a bed and towel there. I realized I defo won’t to sit in the middle of the garbage hole with rude waiter like a bonus.
So I gave the place a chance. Thé place is didn’t take it. I shared my experience. Defo will...

For the last 3 months I have been coming here on and off but for the last month I have been coming here quite regularly while it has been ran by someone else. Everytime I have came, greeted with a smile, staff have got to know me and we have a chat and a laugh while I catch up on some work. I've also recommended this place to other people. Everytime I come I spend between 500-1500 baht for myself so it's really not that cheap but I do come as the friend that's been running it has been voicing how quiet its been and also has been accommodating in offering food thats not on the menu etc.
Today I came and it appeared no one was there, thought it was strange for a friday so I thought, i might aswell just wait for 10 minutes and see if anyone arrives. The (i presume owner) did come and was incredibly hostile in telling me they were closed, I tried cracking a joke but got a bit of a snare back and he walked off, couldn't actually believe it. After spending a few thousand baht in the last few weeks, it was the last way i'd expect to be treated - especially from the owner.
In summary, nice staff, mediocre food but terrible owner, there are many other great beach bars around lamai - will definitely not...
Read moreTERRIBLE! My wife and I live on Samui and eat out at local restaurants 4 or 5 times a week. We took 2 Swedish friends for Sunday lunch at La Bohemia. The initial impression was good with very friendly service, excellent cocktails and beautiful view. The experience went downhill from there. Potatas Bravos not cooked through. French fries white, limp and undercooked. The duck parmentier was unbelievably bad! The mashed potato was grey, lumpy and cold with no flavor of gratin. The dish looked as though it had been in the freezer for two months and whipped out to order. I can only think that the potato had frightened away the duck because I searched for a piece of duck for 15 minutes with no success. If your chef wants to know what a real duck parmentier should be like, I can direct him to another restaurant on the island that does it correctly at 20 baht cheaper! Your version of this dish is an...
