Boomerang Pizzeria — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Very friendly and nice restaurant. I opted for the four cheese penne pasta. Portion size ok but totally bland and tasteless. Apart from a tiny sprinkling of Parmesan on top and possibly mozzarella in the cream sauce, there was zero other cheese taste, just cream. The garlick bread with mozzarella was lovely with fresh garlick. I had food envy for the pizza when I saw it! They looked lovely and not the thin base like in the other restaurants so will be returning to try their pizza. The only other issue was smoking. I'll be honest I only had pizza in napoli once so I'm no expert, these pizzas seemed pretty close to the mark, I like my sauce a bit more rich but I do remember the authentic ones used more basic flavours relying on the quality of the ingredients. I had the Hawaiian pizza which was good... But once you add their chilli oil... Wow! I'm guessing they make the oil themselves because it's completely bursting with flavour, if you don't use this you are genuinely missing out. Prices were good and the service was excellent. I am sorry but it was easily the worst bolognaise I have ever had. Greasy (how do you get spaghetti so greasy?) And the meat was just a mush, I did not taste any onion or carrot or sauce. The young lady serving was very nice and when I asked for some water she filled my glass up when it was empty.
