I’ve been a frequent visitor to Cocktails by PIK, stopping by about 30 times over the past two months. The draw is definitely the affordable pricing—cocktails start at ฿75 until 6 p.m. and then go up to ฿95, with draft beer also priced at ฿75 during happy hour. For those looking to enjoy a few drinks on a budget, it’s a good option.

The staff here work hard, and while the service may not always feel overly warm, it seems more a result of handling a high volume of orders than apathy. I got to know two of the servers after a few visits, and they became more welcoming once we were on familiar terms. That personal connection made a difference, and I understand they might not have the time to engage with everyone in the same way.

The drinks reflect the low prices, often made with more economical liquor. Some cocktails, like the Long Island Iced Tea, are prepared differently than traditional recipes, but that’s to be expected given the price. My usual go-to is a neat Johnny Walker Black, and while it has occasionally been mixed up with Jack Daniels, the staff have always corrected it each time without any hassle.

There have been a few times when I received a drink I merely asked about rather than ordered, but I chalk that up to the fast-paced environment. The other day, when I inquired about the gin quantity in a gin fizz, the server didn’t have the answer but seemed genuinely busy rather than dismissive.

Overall, Cocktails by PIK is a laid-back spot for affordable drinks. The service might feel reserved, but I’ve had pleasant experiences here, especially after getting to know a few of the staff. For a budget-friendly night out, it’s worth a visit if you keep your expectations realistic.

I did not read the food because I have not tried it yet. However they always bring you, tasty bars, snacks to accompany your beverage so, you never feel like a Philistine, in the modern sense of the word.

One of my favourite places to have a drink in Lamai. Been coming here on and off during the last 5 years and the quality of their cocktails and high level of service has been very consistent all the time. The place in incredibly well decorated and a really good place to take your kids along also. There’s a nice pool table and the drink menu also have a lot for the kids without alcohol. Come before 6 pm to enjoy happy hour where the prices are lower. Even after 6 pm you still only pay 95 bath for a drink and they are dead strong. I never drink more than 3 drinks from here, else I just get too drunk. Also they serve popcorn free of charge when you buy a drink. And hands down they are the best and most addictive popcorn I have ever tasted. I would recommend everyone coming to Lamai to go here and visit this nice bar. Cocktails are a good price during happy hour. The annoying thing was with the shots it says buy 2 get 1 free so naturally you think everything on that list..... You could try 3 different shots but no they then advise you have to buy 3 of the same shot..... But how do we know which one we like without trying?? And..... They are the same price anyway so let customers try different ones and then probably next time will buy 3 of the same or as many as we have in our group.
