We had eaten at this restaurant a few times before deciding to try the one next door. The food was average at best, and the atmosphere felt extremely commercial and impersonal.
One night around 11 PM, we got a flat tire on our scooter while traveling with our child. We asked if they could rent us a scooter so we could get home, but they insisted on keeping a passport as a guarantee — which is illegal in Thailand. When we refused, explaining that it was both risky and against the law, they simply left us stranded.
To make things worse, they refused to let our 5-year-old son use the restroom, even though he had gone there by mistake thinking it was the restaurant we had eaten at the night before — which was actually theirs. Despite us having been loyal customers just the day before, they showed no understanding. Our son was desperate, but the woman in charge clearly didn’t care.

Read moreWe’ve been spending more months nearby and this beach restaurant quickly became our go-to place as a family. From the very first visit, we were welcomed so warmly – especially with our little baby, which means so much when you’re traveling with a young child.
The food is always fresh and delicious, with something for everyone. They even helped us with little things like gave our child banana snack or found a quiet corner when the baby needed a nap.
But what really makes this place special is the staff. They’re genuinely kind, always smiling, and made us feel so comfortable every single time. It’s rare to find such a perfect mix of great food, a beautiful setting, and such lovely people.
We’ll miss this place so much when we head home – it’s been a big part of our family’s happy memories here. Highly recommend it to anyone, especially...
Read moreGood food but bad experiences. We came the first time for a drink and didn't get the right cocktail (no commercial gesture). We came back the next day for breakfast. We ordered a formula at 209b including one drink. It was written on the menu (coffee, tea, cappuccino included), so we asked the waiter to confirm this. When we paid, we learned that there was a "mistake" in the menu and that the cappuccino (marked as included) was not. The waiter apologizes, but once again makes no commercial gesture and has the nerve to tell us that an extra 250b to pay for our cappuccino "is nothing for us". In other words, we've got enough to pay and we don't have to haggle. We paid for our breakfast for 3 almost 800b or 21€ or 7€ per person, far too expensive. We thought we...
