Let's start with the negatives..This restaurant has the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat on.. stupidly heavy wooden and metal.. if you got any back problems you're going to hate this place.. they very kindly gave me a cushion chair so that solved it but I doubt if I would have stayed had that chair not been available.. it was very busy at the time..

That aside let's talk about the food.. Great menu with the mix of Thai and Italian dishes but not too many on the menu so you know they really are going to care about what they're cooking..

We opted for the Italian which I have to say was a perfectly crisp wood fired pizza and some succulent ravioli.. But the barata salad was not the oozing type of burrata but more of a hardened mozzarella

The service is great and on the night that we visited there was one of the best bar singers I've ever seen..

Sooooooo i only came here for drinks with friends before dinner. I am counting drinks as food in my rating. So, i think this is a difficult topic, but let's talk about it. First things first, items on the menu were not on the shelf, i think that is not good, you can take it how you want, i settled for something that i didn't really want but it was the lesser of the evils so to say.... My friend got a Bloody Mary... He said it was super sweet. I know Thai cuisine has a broad range of flavors and tastes and one of the tastes is sweetness, but that does not float well for Bloody Mary's. All in all the view, the service and the ambiance saved this place from being three star. Most people will enjoy this place, i am picky, petty and selective AF.... But i can appreciate some things that aren't measurable. 4 stars even though I wasn't satisfied... I think that is more...

Engañados... 400 BATHS por 2 botellas de agua

Así es como nos sentimos anoche cuando salimos de este restaurante. Sitio agradable, emplazamiento al lado de la playa.. todo parece apuntar bien. Pedimos agua para beber (agua 50 baths se puede leer en la carta) acto seguido la camarera nos dijo queréis botella grande? Dijimos que si puesto que teníamos sed y éramos dos. Cual es nuestra SORPRESA cuando pedimos la cuenta y por una ensalada 225 baths y un calzone 395 más dos botellas de agua, nos llega una cuenta de 1070 baths! Miro la cuenta y 380 baths en agua! Que sumándole el recargo de una tasa del 7% de la cual tampoco te avisan, resulta que te estás gastando más de 400 baths en agua!

Yo no daba crédito! Pregunté a la camarera, por si había habido alguna clase de error y me dice enseñándome la carta: está en la carta!

Pagamos la cuenta pero como me sentía mal al respecto, pedí que viniera la camarera que me había atendido en un inicio, con intención de explicarle que deberían aclarar esto para en el futuro no tener problemas con los clientes.

Me vuelve a repetir: está en la carta ! Y le digo pero en la carta pone “San Benedetto” y creo que eso lleva a confusión.. si yo hubiera sabido que por una botella “grande” (750 ml) me vais a cobrar 200 baths y por una pequeña me vais a cobrar 50 me pido varias botellas pequeñas, al fin y al cabo es agua... (todo esto.. yo intentando ser lo más educada posible) y me responde: Es que es agua italiana! Y le dije: mira creo que esto lleva a confusión y lo deberíais aclarar en la carta. El mal entendido lo puedo tolerar (aunque me sienta engañada porque por la botella pequeña te cobren poco y luego pides una grande y te meten una marca “italiana”.)

Pero ya luego la camarera me soltó con gesto soberbio: “ es que algunos restaurantes son modernos” Y ya ahí.. si que colmó mi paciencia: y le pregunto: ¿que estás queriendo decir con eso? ¿Estás tratando de ofenderme? Porque yo simplemente te he hecho una sugerencia para evitar malos entendidos en el futuro..

Me parece increíble que trates de hacer una sugerencia a un restaurante y encima traten de ofenderte, como si tú no fueras suficiente para ese sitio. Sobra decir, que he resumido mucho la conversación, pero a parte de engañada me fui del lugar ofendida. Ya no era tan amable la camarera.

Es una pena, porque el calzone estaba riquísimo, muy recomendable, y la ensalada cesar rica aunque con mucha salsa y algo salada para mi gusto. Otra pega del lugar fue que tardaron bastante en atendernos a pesar de que cuando llegamos...
