Darika Health Massage — Local services in Ko Samui

Prices affordable, Ladies nice enough, ambience not great (noise of traffic, venue a bit tired looking) but I’m really only writing this review because of the massage. I asked for back, neck and shoulder. I’ve had quite a few in Thailand and unfortunately this was by far the worst. I like a deep tissue massage and strong pressure, but this was another level. Her finger and elbow movements felt somehow sharp and ‘jabby’ to the point where most of the massage became an endurance trial rather than a relaxing experience. There didn’t seem much of a method to the moments, like I’ve experienced previously, and some of the ‘knots’ she seemed to focus on were bone or in weird places (my ribs?!) which led me to wonder if she knew what she was doing. Woke up this morning & my back feels bruised, which I recognise is sometimes a side effect of a deep tissue massage, but I usually enjoy a deep tissue massage and I didn’t enjoy most of the hour. To be fair to the lady, being typically British, I did not complain at any point about the pain or the pressure, so I have to take some responsibility, but not a great...

Bad experience! First, when I was already lying down, they told me price for face massage was 500 instead of 300 advertised outside. While my boyfriend's massage was 400 and stayed 400. Then they basically washed my face 5-6 times for 45 minutes, but ZERO massage on face, just skin rubbing that was all the time the same. Even when I said the face rubbing was very irritating for my face they said it's almost over but it still went on for a while. Then they massage my head 10-15 minutes, that was ok, but after my hair were a complete mess and I had to leave like that with products résidu all over my face. Finally, I asked if shoulder massage was included, they said yes for a (little) while, but really, they pressed my shoulders twice, cracked my head and this was it. This is biggest bad review I have ever written, it's not usual for me. On the bright side, I do have to say that my boyfriend really liked his back massage. I hope this...

Small massage studio in 2nd row from the Beach (traditional)

I like the simple Thai Style at darika‘s studio.

The girls /ladies are beautiful characters and very friendly!

In 1st row to the Beach it is much more expensive and the massage is Not that good than here at darikas massage.

My wife an me have been for 6 times here and every massage (60 min) was perfect and we left the studio absolutely relaxed.
