Good Food, Poor Management—and Not Worth the Wait
Let’s separate the food from the way this place is run. There’s a line—more than 20 minutes just to get in—and once you’re inside, you’ll start to understand why.
After finally getting seated and placing your order, here comes the first bit of bad news: the wait isn’t over. From that moment, expect another 25+ minutes before your food arrives. And it can get worse. We were two people—my dish came out after 25 minutes, but my partner’s took 40. So you’re stuck choosing between eating cold food or eating alone.
Now, about the food itself: it’s fine. Decent, even. But it doesn’t make up for everything else. The delays, the lack of coordination, the overall experience—it’s just too much hassle for what you get.
Prices? They’re not outrageous, but again, not worth it. After exploring more of the island, I can confidently say there are plenty of better spots—cheaper, faster, and just as tasty.
This place got famous, and it shows. But they haven’t figured out how to handle...

The hype from TikTok has probably ruined this place. It can’t handle the traffic of people coming. It takes literal hours to get out food and when it came we were heavily disappointed. The food did not justify the wait time. We came her twice. On the fist time we waited a total of 2.5 hours to get our food and it came wrong. Which was the case for most people who were also waiting. Every time the waiter would bring a dish out everyone would turn and hope they were finally getting there meal. The second time we diced to give it another go because maybe we just went on a bad day. Nope waited the same amount of time ordered different food and still thought this was not worth the wait time. Your also stuck on a small table and have to share with others people. The whole place is cramped and there’s mosquitoes everywhere!
Again. Don’t wast your times go next door to puds the food is amazing and you don’t have...
Read moreI don't understand the hype about this place when there are so many good restaurants on Koh Tao. We had to wait (not a problem for us), when we sat down, I asked for two glasses and was told rather rudely that I could get up myself to get the glasses which were hidden behind a table behind my back (not a problem either). We ordered 3 dishes, two of them took about 10-15 minutes, which was great, but the third took about 30 minutes, resulting in the third person dining practically alone. All three dishes were extremely sweet (the pad thai was sweet, as was the chicken cashew nuts). Of all the pad thai and dishes we tried on the island, for us, this was the worst. We came here because of the good reviews but we didn't understand them after trying it. Also the staff, I don't know if they were overworked or just didn't understand English well,...
