Read moreI came to eat here twice on different occasions and found both experiences very average.
The first time I was just craving a mango sticky rice and a coconut smoothie. The mango sticky rice was of average quality and nothing too special. I have definitely had nicer tasting ones in Thailand so far. Upon ordering the coconut smoothie they came back to tell me they were out and couldn't make that. Instead I ordered a mango/passionfruit smoothie.
2 days later my friend and I came back for a late lunch and ordered a Tom Ka Kai, chicken with cashew nuts and a papaya salad. We also asked for a coconut smoothie and they gave the same answer of that item not being available (again).
We asked if they could make the food original (a tiny bit spicy), since we haven't had many restaurants that make the food spicy for us. Well, we got what we asked for. They added an insane amount of chilli's in our dishes to the point of me being able to reassemble 2/3 whole chillis on my plate. (The cashew chicken dish)
I love my spicy, but I also love the finesse of a dish and how well cut things are. The chilli's were cut so roughly and big that it was a gut punch every time instead of a nicely fine cut chilli with a more subtle burn.
They do however have a big menu, many items available and kind service. The place also gets packed at night, it's quite quiet during day time. They also charge fair pricing for the dishes in comparison to many other restaurants...
Read moreBear with me, 'cause this is a long one. We sat at the table at 19, 5 ppl, we told the waiter we would have been 7 but that we wanted to order a start making the food cause we had little time (this was around 19.10). At 19.15 the missing friends came, and ordered. At 19.30 we asked if the order was in the kitchen, they said yes. At 19.45 some of us left 'cause we were strict on time At 19.55 the waiter came to us, telling the order was going in the kitchen in that moment and it'd have been ready soon. I asked to cancel my dinner and the dinner from the other friend that left and left the place myself.
At 20.10 the food came, including the 2 meals take away. No way of cancelling the order nor leaving it there. The fun part is that one of them was supposedly a Massaman Curry but into the box (when my friend brought it to me) the Massaman was not there. Just a container with steam rice in it.
They could have saved the situation is so many ways... They could have cancelled the order of the people who left, they could have said anything about it... Nothing, just lies and horrible food. I'll never set foot in this...
