Should have paid attention to some negative reviews.

Totally agree with the comment about the Pad Thai being smothered in sauce and lacking authentic flavour, also no salad and had to ask for lime to squeeze over it. Very average.

Also ordered green curry vegetables and tofu. Checked price when ordering and was told will be the same as Chicken! Dish arrived and the flavour was great but vegetables were mostly green beans and chunks of carrots! No tofu as they don’t have it apparently ! That would have been good to know before I ordered. and cost should have been lower for basic veg.

Definitely can see where the comments about a stern unhappy face come from. Doesn’t take much work to crack a smile.

In the process of collecting our dishes, I went to pass a glass and it tipped over on the table and broke as was very thin, low quality glass. Waitress said everything okay. Later when checking bill we noticed 100 THB for breakage. Seems completely outrageous, especially when nothing was mentioned at the time and we had to read about it.

Place was full of Westerners as they obviously get a lot of business from all the resorts nearby. Do yourself a flavour and skip this. Not...

I can see that by the time of writing (august 2024) this eatery has a total review score of 4.6. That is in my honest opinion far to high and I would rate it to 3.0 – at most. I went there with family and the food we ordered was dull and tasteless and was totally lacking the freshness and the spiciness you find elsewhere in Thailand. The prices are at the same level as the other restaurants at Chaweng beach – but that does not make it a reasonable price. It’s rather expensive when you look at the value for money. We ordered traditional Thai-food (Curries and Chicken with vegetables and Cashews) and ended up with a rather dull and boring meal. My advice would be, try to look elsewhere or at least lower your expectations before coming...

Update - I’ve eaten here more than a dozen times during the last two months and I have never come across a dish that even had a small smudge on it. Their glassware and silverware are always crystal clean. I’m very impressed. Excellent food with an extensive menu and great prices. The glasses and silverware are immaculately clean. I mention this because almost every place we’ve eaten in Samui has lip marks on glasses or silverware that looks like it needs to be washed better.
