Nui Bakery & Sandwiches Koh Tao — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Lovely little bakery and food shop. They have expanded the shop and made a new larger inside sit down area which is non-smoking! Yay! It is so nice to enjoy your food in a smoke free environment.

The hot match latte comes with cute foam art and they bring you your own bottle of sugar and caramel to sweeten the drink to your taste. I recommend getting it with coconut milk to make it extra tasty.

The Thai iced tea (also recommend ordering with coconut milk) is tasty and they have a great frothy foam on top which is light a fluffy.

This is the second time getting the Farmer’s Breakfast which is a mix of eggs, potatoes, onions and bell peppers. They give you a condiment basket with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and a delicious slightly spicy red sauce. The mix is hearty and good sized. The first time I ate it with the regular shop made white bread, the second time I tried it with their sourdough and really liked it!

The best part of the meal is the dessert of course! My favorite was the mixed berry crumble which is just the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth but not over do it.

I absolutely love Nui’s Bakery! After 30+ days on Koh Tao, I likely ate here 30+ times throughout the day. I know it’s crazy but everything is delicious.

The passionfruit pineapple smoothie absolutely yummy. They also add dried goji berries on top, which is special and delicious. I also get espressos here

Bakery!! The bread is 10/10, phenomenal. Nui - the owner - is a master breadmaker and her/her team make fresh bread, pastries daily. I really liked the Lemon Olive Oil pastry, Florentine Bar, and just the fresh bread with toast, butter and jam!

The beetroot burger is PHENOMENAL and vegan!! I was skeptical but the owner convinced me to try it.. and wow, it was really good I’ve gotten it 2x since.

After a month in Koh Tao, I am sad to leave but grateful this place is a 3 min walk to my hotel and the beach. Can’t get much better!

Food looks great and taste is is generally nice! But this stuff is pricey! What made me quite annoyed was that there are no mentions of possible allergic ingredients. Of course they mentioned the gluten-free stuff, but I had to ask the staff after I received my order (vegan deluxe breakfast) with the brown rice loaf, if it contained any nuts. Staff had to look on the Facebook page for ingredients.... So no written information whatsoever in the store. I found that highly unprofessional and possible dangerous! And it did contain walnuts - luckily I actually got up an asked about it, could have been a disaster....!

Additional-Info: we bought a baguette that was obviously from the day before. After I asked for a replacement, I was told no discounts, no changes, no freshness. We paid full price for an old bread. No further information was given prior to our purchase. Therefore I will give only 2 stars.
