We went to this place to have our last lunch before we depart for the airport.

This MAN, came up to us, went to join 2 tables together for us, took our orders and placed our orders for us. None of us thought that HE'S NOT THE STAFF WORKING THERE!

After all e foods were being served, THE MAN passed us the bill and asked us to settle the bill. I told him we will settle before we leave but he said NO CANNOT.

I went ahead to pass him 1500 THB. After we finished our lunch, another staff passed us the bill and we told her that we had paid our bill but they insisted that we did not pay and insisted that THE MAN IS OUR FRIEND!

The other table of Singaporeans (onli 2 tables including us in the restaurant) oso mentioned that THEY HAD PAID TO THE MAN!

The boss came out (apparently a PRC guy) & said that we had not paid the bill and wanted us to pay for e bill!!!! They insisted to call e police initially.. but was delaying to call the police. We r supposed to leave for the airport at 1430 hrs and it was 1340 hours at that time. After a 30 mins hustle, they den decided to let us go without asking us to pay.

The hub & bil asked us to proceed back to e hotel first while they settled.

I reported e incident to e hotel staff and called The Singapore Embassy in BKK and asked for help as the hub & bil were held up by e restaurant.

We r not sure if THE MAN & the restaurant r in cahoots but better b safe den sorry.

Arrived about 5pm to get table for two. Was told by a grumpy lady to go upstairs. Went up and there was only one local couple sitting there already. The food took ages to come and we could see that the couple before (who had ordered one dish each) had also waited ages. Food was average. We had tom yum soup, an omelette (very oily) and spicy stir fried morning glory (veg). Staff served with grumpy faces. While we were eating, a group of seven teenagers appeared and took a long table. One of the girls manually adjusted a wall fan to point at her table and the staff scolded her. Then another group of four tourists appeared. They wanted a table for 8 and said they had reserved a table. The teenagers that came before had already taken the long table that could have accommodated 8. So the tourists suggested they push two standard tables together at the back of the room, to make a table for eight. The staff refused to allow them and told them they couldn’t push tables together and had to eat at two separate tables. So when the remaining four in their group arrived, they sat at two different tables, a couple metres away from one another. No reason why they could not have sat together except the staff were just being unaccommodating. I would not recommend this place unless you want to feel like you’re begging for a favour when...

To be honest seafood were a hit and miss.

I still give a 4* because we had a good night out with our family and service was normal as you would expect. Price are also reasonable

I would suggest to avoid any steam dishes like steam prawns or crab. The prawn/crab are quite big but the meat itself were tasteless and thats because lots of prawns and crab are actually farmed in thailand

Try the blue crab and you will taste the difference

Avoid any stir fried dish with crab also. We tried one and the crab meat had no taste

If you are going to try seafood then try the BBQ ones, they will have more taste than just steamed
