This hotel is crazy... It have the vibes of a modern and stylish hotel which is on the level of aLoft by Marriott. Then it have the service and amenities of Marina Bay Sands.
The kind of things offered at the hotel you can never think of (or I'm just not staying at those hotel before) Here is what I think: staff from all level speaks proper English, western accent. freeflow welcome drinks and popcorn/cotton candy. Inclusive Supper buffet from 9pm-11pm. Breakfast buffet from 6:30am-11am. Free 24/7 buggy service from predefined location (including the day you are checking in/out) Shower room for when after you have checked out but still want to freshen up. Free photography service with Thai costume. Opens 10am until 4pm I think. Free 15min head and shoulder massage, only on Tuesday and Friday. They have scale to weight your luggage so you can rest assure and pack your luggage with confident.
Whoever is running the place is very smart, those buffet is not only serve the customers but once the session is over the staff will be digging in, feeds the customers and the staffs both at the same time. I think the staff are very well taken care of which in turn takes care of the customer very well. The price is slightly premium from what I felt, but I can see the kind of smile and service is obvious, from when I checked in everyone is just smiling. When my daughter is dripping wet going to get the life life jacket at the pool area there is a staff that comes out with a mop to keep the floor clean (there is nobody else around 2pm that time). And the night before a stag saw my daughter so eager to go into the pool, they just kindly reminded that the pool is close and can come back again tomorrow morning from what time to what time.
We had a great fun time with the free photography service. 2 girls Som and Nam serve us with professional etiquette and provides lots of suggestions like what to wear, what to do, how to pose, what accessories to go with. The process is straight forward and simple. Pick you costume, get dressed up, pick the accessories, go to the 3 scenes that is nearby. It is like modelling shoot, they ask you to pose then they quickly snap the photos it is that simple. Then after the whole shoot you get to go around with the costume to take photo on your own. I think this is a very nice touch, every one who have visited this hotel who have had the opportunity to booked the free service gets to go home with a piece of Thai culture back home with them as a traditional photo.
Supper and breakfast is great, it is not like you see the same thing served on the same day indicating left overs. Better than Club Med where the meals are the same for supper from dinner or they take the other restaurant meals and cross serve.
As I understand the photography and massage is not under the same management, they are 3rd party. Even though they are 3rd party but their service is not cheapskate type or...
Read moreThe location of this hotel is very convenient, near Pratunam market, Pratinum mall,Indra square, Paradium mall, city mall and a few others. The have buggy service and the drop points are near those shopping sites. Also they have shuttle drop point near the Phaya Thai Airport Railway, only 2-3 mins walking. They have a wide spread breakfast buffet ie salads, cereals, yogurt, noddle counters, bakery and many more. They also have vegetarian and muslim food. Only that for muslim they have only 2 dishes everyday. I hope next time, the hotel can provide more muslim food varieties. The receptionists are friendly. The thing that I liked most about this hotel is that they have free photo session for the Thai traditional costumes. Som and Mind are very friendly, helpful and professional in advising in the selection of costumes and accessories. They worked so professional and efficient in sending those photos to me. They shots lots of photos,The only unfortunate incident for me is on the last day I was scolded by the buggy driver. He scolded me for taking 2 rides. He said he's very busy and he's the only driver available. In the morning, I took the buggy to the Pratunam market. After packing my luggage, I discovered that my luggage cover is torn and I need a new one. So I rushed down stairs to get the buggy to the market. At first he was reluctant to take me and gave priority to other guests. I begged him saying that I need to buy the luggage cover and need to get it before 12 pm, check-out time. Then he gave me the ride but start complaining to me. I explained to him why I need to go to the market 2nd time. After I grabbed the cover, I called him many times to pick me up but he didn't answer. I nearly wanted to give up since it's already 11 am. Luckily I saw the buggy sending other guest and jumped in when he make the stop. I just don't know the rules that guests can only take 1 ride per day.Other than the shuttle buggy incident, all the services provided by this hotel are excellent. Forgot to mention, that they have free ice cold drinks and popcorn at the lobby. I will stay at this hotel again if I go to...
Read moreI booked at this hotel with mixed feelings and really did not know what to expect. Well, I could not have been more surprised. We were warmly greeted and quickly booked in. the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were on the 2nd floor. Our room was at all times clean. The TV didnt have the best coverage, but we werent there to watch tv. The first night we could have everything that was at the bar at the fridge. but from the next day we received our free water. We could put anything in the bar. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk sachets were provided. Very nice smelling soap, conditioner, shampoo and toothbrushes with toothpaste was provided. There was an umbrella and hairdryer provided, as well as gowns and slippers. The breakfast was plentiful, juices, fruit, tea, coffee, eggs, bacon, bread, and various other food. Get there early as it seems to get very busy after 8h30. Tables was quickly cleaned and ready for the next customer. In the lobby ice cream is provided free between 1 and 5pm. Also ice cold juice and popcorn. You can also have your photo taken traditional style on one of the floors. There is a swimming pool which has a lovely place to sit and chill and have a drink...also a happy hour. Snacks are provided between 5 and 7 too which is a lovely gesture. Life jackets are provided for the little children and towels too. There is a buggy outside the hotel that takes you to certain points which is a great help. The hotel is very close to the Pratunum area, Central World a short walk away, The Big C and plenty of street food. You can also walk to the street Market near the Indra Regent. So all in all - a well situated hotel. We left late that day so they stored our luggage while we were out. I cannot express how this little hotel surprised me to what it offered. I will certainly be back and definately refer this awesome hotel. Thank you to all the friendly staff that never left to amaze me. They always had a smile on their faces and could not do enough.
