I think the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and very convenient parking. However, the little things has made you miss the mark. Overall, it’s just ok instead of amazing.
We ordered the crab and mussels pasta, but the mussels were so fishy and not smelled nice that we had to call a waiter. I wouldn’t mind at all if none of this happened. Instead of an apology, the waiter (the skin head bro in beige suit) replied us “Huh? The mussels just came in yesterday”, I mean he had no bad intention, he did offer a change without hesitation but it did feel like he looked down on us a bit and he should have responded better. We didn’t ask for a compensation, you know? It’s just your food didn’t meet standard. And we also haven’t heard any of you guys say sorry even when the new dish came, the same waiter kept talking about how the restaurant was SO responsible that they canceled all the mussels dishes tonight, still no apology. Don’t you think it’s strange? Next, the head chef came, he just asked like nothing’s happened. We just said umm ok bcoz we’re in the middle of conversation and didn’t want to ruin our night and he’s gone. I wondered if he knew what happened in the kitchen. Anyway, it was no big deal but it’s just a little thing that we couldn’t ignore. The taste? Just ok and the angel hair was too overcooked.
For Ravioli Truffle, the sauce was delicious but the pasta is way too al dente. If you look inside the pasta, the flour was still a little raw which’s also a little thing as well.
The salad was nice.
The waiter only cheered us to order the expensive things but we didn’t fall for that. And we think his manner was way too casual to customers. I mean it’s nice to smile and chit chat sometimes. You can be approachable but you must know “when to say what”, if you’re well-trained. But not surprised with the way he replied us on the mussel dish. Maybe he just tried to be chill with us…
All my feedbacks are little things. But yeah they all compound. We’re not angry, we have had quite a good time because we’re not fussy people but we just can’t ignore them. Thank you...

It was only by chance we visited this restaurant, from a recommendation from the concierge at our hotel, after our booking at another restaurant was cancelled at short notice. How lucky we were to visit this lovely restaurant.
On arrival we were greeted by Armenio who introduced himself to us and advised us he would be overseeing our meal that evening. We were shown to our table and handed the menus. The waiter was very attentive and polite. He knew the menu very well and made knowledgeable recommendations.
Home made sourdough with olive oil and balsamic preceded the starters and was very good indeed. I then had the lobster bisque which was delicious, very tasty and had plenty of lobster in it.
The majority of my party had the home made lasagne for main course, a suggestion from the waiter. They were not disappointed, it was delicious. The tomato sauce was rich and tasty and the home made pasta just perfect.
On to the wine list, again that was not disappointing. We opted for the house red and house white .
Armenia came to talk to us between courses to ensure we enjoyed our food. The waiting staff were attentive and lovely throughout the meal.
A truly lovely evening was had by all, food was excellent and the house wines way beyond those experienced before and properly presented and served.
Well done to all at the restaurant, first...
Read moreOverall good a Italian restaurant but there are areas that can be improved.
First what we love. The focaccia and complimentary bread were really good. Severd hot and crispy. Holland blue Mussles were perfectly cooked. They were fresh, sweet and plump.
We wanted to order beef Lasagna but it was not available so we opt out for pork. It was good (espacially the sauce) but i still prefered a good traditional lasagna which has richer taste.
What let us down was the rack of lamb from Kinross. It was suppose to be the highlight of our meal but it was over cooked (2 pieces were gray and 2 with some pink). But the real issue for me was the herbs crust. It was very salty and over power the delicate flavor of the premium lamb (I could feel the salt grain as i chewed the meat and it left my mouth fill with saltiness).
I don't usually too picky with details but i was a bit sad to see the potential of this lamb being let down by the cooking and it was not cheap.
At the end crepes suzette kinna bring our mood back up. I love how the restaurant still serve it in the traditional way (cooking in front of you) with a bit of theater and Grand Marnier to finished.
The service was good with friendly attentive staffs. Parking is right next door at Hong Song Association but it can be confusing so call the restaurant if it's...
