Food is okay, but the portion is very small comparing to the price I had to pay salad is quite big salmon sushi in reasonable size and price i started to feel surprised once the wakyu foie gras roll came, the sliced beef on top of the roll I swear it might weight less than 1 gram🥹 thinner than napkin, i could see the foie gras inside, but well, not exaggerating, all i could taste of was ‘cucumber’ thanks. At the price of thb 425, I bet you could have it everywhere else tht is bigger and gives u more meat, this is the tiniest roll piece I have ever eaten grilled gindara is quite small too, abt 100g at thb 495, well, elsewhere might sell at similar price, more or less, but bigger portion and i am pretty sure more fresh
Most annoying thing during my dinner was someone who seems to be like an owner, who sat on another table with her friend and a group of friends on another table, talking across the resto, well that wouldn’t be the problem if she did not glance at our ‘only general customers’ for more than 5 times with no smile or welcoming attitude, what a rude acts🤨 (But the waitress was nice tho)
Thb 2000+, which I could (and should) have spent at some other good authentic jap...
Read moreDelicious sushi at US prices. Good sake selection, beer selection is limited. Sashimi is a great deal, and includes Salmon, Tuna, and Hamachi, a very high-quality combination. Spicy tuna roll is very good and uses spicy seasoning power vice a mayonnaise sauce - with large chunks of tuna. Spicy salmon roll, however, is the opposite, with minced fish, little heat, and lots of sauce. (Stick with the tuna). Refreshing roll is a nice twist of sushi meets Mexican, with cilantro, lemon juice, and other zesty flavors - a must try. My wife and myself ate more than necessary, with two bottles of sake, five rolls, sashimi, four orders of nigiri (2 pieces per order) and miso soup, cost was about $100 USD with tip/tax. We live in the neighborhood, and will certainly return - this is our new go-to sushi...
Read moreLove this wonderful off-the-beaten path sushi restaurant. Everything is absolutely delicious! The avocado salad is a must and so is the miso eggplant. The torched salmon is amazing and tonight we tried the foie gras sushi which was outstanding. A real delicacy. We visited here 2 years ago and remembered it fondly and it was just as good tonight. May even go back tomorrow night. So good! Thank you Ken for the wonderful evening. You really put your heart and soul into everything you do. Wish we lived closer so we could come more often. We...
