As a person who usually doesn’t like vegan food, I will tell you this place is awesome!
I mean to be fair, Thai veg food in itself is technically vegan anyway, so yeah nothing much to add there lol.
Ok back to topic. We had a few dishes here and honestly all of them were great! Especially the Sukhothai noodles, you need to try that out. Especially when I actually had the real Sukhothai noodles, I will tell you the taste is almost similar, if not the same. It’s really great and I loved it!
Staff were very nice and approachable. The place also looked great and had a vibe to it.
Sadly, they don’t have their own parking but you can park at the Old Siam mall, and they will pay the parking for you, which is amazing (only for the amount of time you were at the restaurant). The location is kinda difficult to get to because we had to cross the road twice, one road where there was no crossing light (had to mission impossible that lol).
All jokes aside, this is a great restaurant overall. While I despise them increasing the price just cause of the word “vegan”, the place does legit have great and tasty food, so you should definitely stop by if you are veg and you are craving for some good Thai dishes if you are around the...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this vegan restaurant purely by chance through Google—and I can honestly say it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made all trip. As vegetarians traveling through Thailand, we’ve had our fair share of good meals, but this place was on a whole other level.
The pad Thai was a masterpiece—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with just the right amount of tang and crunch. The boat noodles were rich, deeply flavorful, and comforting in a way that felt like a warm hug in a bowl. And don’t even get me started on the soy lime "chicken"—zesty, tender, and addictively good. The oyster mushrooms were beautifully crispy, bursting with umami, and might honestly be one of the best mushroom dishes I’ve ever had.
What made it even more special was how effortless and thoughtful everything felt. As vegetarians, it’s rare to find a place where we can order freely and have every single dish be a hit. We left full, happy, and already talking about how we wish we could bring this place back home with us.
✨ A true hidden gem. If you’re in Thailand—go here. Just go. You won’t...

Kem Kon in Pahurat is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for authentic Thai food with plenty of vegan and vegetarian-friendly options. The dishes are full of flavor, fresh, and cooked with real care, making it one of those places that feels both local and welcoming.
The atmosphere is simple but warm, and the staff are kind and attentive. One thing I really appreciated is how clear the spice levels are marked on the menu.
Tip: check in with the staff before ordering if you’re not a big fan of heat. The three-pepper dishes are no joke — they will definitely make you sweat! But if you do love spice, you’re in for a treat.
Overall, Kem Kon is the kind of place where you can enjoy creative plant-based Thai food without losing the depth of traditional flavors. Highly recommended whether you’re a local looking for something new or traveling through the area and searching for a memorable...
