We thought this restaurant is connected with the CIBO restaurant that we have tried several times in our Country, that's why we went here and since it's located near our hotel. But I think this is not connected with the CIBO that we know.
We ordered soup, Cream of Mushroom and Brocolli & Cheddar soup. Their serving portion is not big, the only big thing here are the plates. For pasta, we ordered Carbonara and Pasta Ponzu Sauce with Salmon and Ronin Aji. The carbonara was good but the fish in my Pasta, both the salmon and Ronin Aji was not fresh, my tongue got itchy, I also smell the Ronin Aji, it smells fishy already. This pasta could have been great if the fish were fresh. I even have to drink tea when we went back to our hotel because of my stomach ache. We also ordered their 16 hours roasted pork with onion sauce, there was nothing special with it. The grilled veggies was good, the mashed potato was bad, it's almost liquid. The garlic sourdough bread lacks the taste of garlic.
There is no parking slots available for customers. The Restaurant looks like a big residential house. The ground floor part was used as a restaurant. Restrooms are available inside. There is a call buzzer in the table, but we tried using that and waited and waited...we already pressed it like 4 times but no one came after more than 5 minutes, I already used my voice😅. This happened again and even took longer when we were about to ask for our bill. We were the only customer inside the restaurant. They were polite but not attentive at all.
The place was clean however the interior design does not appeal to us. We have no plan of going back and I do not recommend this...
Read moreA new restaurant with a keen, talented Chef. Absolutely delicious food. Service is lacking but I get the feeling our server was new, very, very new. Nevertheless we will return to enjoy the incredibly flavorful and richly prepared dishes. Quaint location with stunning Blue Door. (Glad we didn't eat at Jim Thompson's. Although the tour and property were inspiring the restaurant seemed stale and overpriced. I understand that just about everyone going to Jim's is a tourist but no need to treat them to their prices from back home.) Cibos decor was bold and it worked for me although not my particular style I can appreciate the fantasy and whimsy of...
Read moreNice place, nice atmosphere, big portion of good food. The place is beautifully decorated and the vibes were good. I ordered fish and chips and a guacamole salmon croffle. They both taste great and were generous in portion. The fish in fish and chips was well-cooked and the fillet was rich, tartar sauce was good and chips were just fine (I would say I expect better chips). The croffle was buttery and otherwise so-so, nothing too remarkable about it.
It's a nice place to grab brunch and I would recommend this place. However, price-wise, I would say I've...
