Food and drink is expensive for the quality, which is shockingly poor. First the staff didn't understand we wanted to order an egg fried rice, whether it was spoken in Thai or English. The spicy salmon salad, which was defrosted in the microwave since the salmon came warm and with a mushy texture was bad in many ways. The jellyfish salad was bland and tasted like it was just heated up in some boiled water and drizzled with sesame oil. The prawn sashimi was ok as was the pork skewers. The Squid was ok except the garlic that came with it was not crispy and was sticky, chewy and stuck to our teeth. The staff are not thai and doesn't understand the thai language properly or even English, since the place is full of English language memorabilia. Sometimes when asking staff for simple things like a glass will ensue a a look of puzzlement on their face. The waitresses were trying to be helpful but they just couldn't understand what was being said either in Thai or English, I suspect the owners and staff are not...

I visited this cafe today, the pizza was delicious, carbonara as well, I ordered Caesar salad. First, they forgot about it altogether, after which two waiters came up to us and asked if we had ordered anything else, because they forgot what exactly (at the same time, they seemed to be mocking, which was very unprofessional). I repeated my order, they brought it to me some incomprehensible salad with bacon, ham and lettuce, I showed the waiter a photo of Caesar, that there should be at least tomatoes there (the photo was on their menu), they took the salad, cut the tomatoes there and brought it back. Although the caesar should come with chicken, not fried bacon, there should be eggs, I didn't have any at all. If you do not know how to cook this salad, then do not offer it to people. The general ambience is really nice but I was disappointed that actually nobody spoke a single word of English, even though the name is English and the walls are plastered in English words and phrases. The consequence was that the waitress just did not speak at all and just pointed at things. The staff seemed very overwhelmed with mixing two Mojitos, because they needed 10min per cocktail and 3 people were involved in the process. The cocktails were nice though but pretty pricey for Bangkok.
