Tid Munz Buffet — Restaurant in Wat Arun Subdistrict

Hello everyone! I am writing this review to warn people and to inform the owner about the accident that hapenned to me today. The concept of this cafe is to grab raw food and then roast it yourself on the metallic stove, that built into the table right in the center. While my husband was grabbing the second batch of food, I was stirring seafood on the pan. The food was almost cooked, and I took a bite to try it. Right at this moment the stove felt to the floor almost under my legs (I was very lucky that I was sitting a little to the side from it and didn't get burned and traumatized!) Naturally the food was all over the floor. The staff immediately took the table away and washed the floor. At first, I got shocked and thought maybe I did something wrong. I asked them why it happened, is it my fault or not? But they didn't answer me, just smiled and apologized endlessly. They gave us another table,and my husband and I examined the construction of the stove-it was almost impossible for it to fall apart, it seemed to me that I was very unlucky (and lucky at the same time to remain safe and sound). My mood and appetite was completely ruined and I barely ate something. In the end they gave us ONLY 10% discount!!! They just used my stress and shock from the situation to get away with it at minimum possible cost. I was supposed to given this dinner for free. However, when I told the manager that 10% is a ridiculously small compensation,she just smiled. If they compensated me a full cost (AT LEAST A HALF) , I wouldn't be writing this review now, I am a non-conflict person. Hopefully,the owner will read this review and...

A solid spot, especially if you're looking for a place to chill with your friends!

First off, for an "eat all you can" buffet, the price is super affordable. You definitely get your money's worth here. And when it comes to choices, they've got it all! From fresh veggies to a great selection of beef, pork, chicken, and seafood, plus all sorts of fried goodies... They also have some fruits and ice cream, different sauces and drinks to choose from, which is awesome.

You can really feel that the staff tries their best to accommodate everyone, even with a bit of a language barrier. Honestly, everything was good. My only tiny wish is that they'd add English names to the food and sauces. Sometimes it was a bit of a guessing game, haha! But hey, that's just a minor thing.

Great food for the oyster steak, very flavorful and easy to eat. There are many meats to choose from and the vegetables are fresh and clean. The dipping sauces and side dishes that we ordered, such as fruit juices, are also available, which is delicious here. I recommend it. It's beautiful and you can sit and chill. The service is considered to be at a very good level. I really like pork belly. When I put it in the pan and then dip it in the sauce, it's perfect and delicious.
