Oasis Gold 24K — Restaurant in Wichit

Stopped by the store and ordered a piece of cake with gold, the attendant said 150 Baht, she also said you buy one and get one free. We paid and set, she brought us the cake ( and melted ice cream) without the gold.. we told her her that we wanted with gold.. she said okay and take the cake and ice cream back and say “but with gold there is no buy one and get one free, it’s only one” we said “okay”. Minutes later she comes with the same ice cream ( now even more melted), and with the same cake with few flakes of gold and served. We stayed there for while then other coupe walked in and we decided to leave since the place was small, the attendant came to us and tell us that we need to pay ( in a rude way, in front of other customer) . I was “what”? She was “yeah you pay me, need pay me.. gold is more” I say what? What is going on? She said that we paid 150 Baht but gold costs 450 Baht I said okay I don’t think it’s right WhT you did because you didn’t tell us before you served, only said that “with gold you don’t buy one and get one free, it’s only one” plus embarrassing us in front of other customer making us look like we were leaving without paying when we didn’t even know that it had an increase of the price ??? I asked if she accepted dollars ( cash) or card because I just had 40 Baht left she said “no, only cash” ( meaning only baht) “but you go change money there” i again said I was going to do it and come back later however I didn’t agree on tell us the pricing after we ate and the embarrassment she caused. I texted the profile on Instagram and I told what I have reported here, plus I said I was going to give a bad review for the service and everything, the employees need more training. And the owner offered a coffee ( which I didn’t accept) I went pay the remaining 300baht and again, another mistake, they said it was 400 Baht not 450 Baht as she mentioned before, so the remaining was 250 baht ( the girl didn’t know what she was doing).. the owner was there this second time and apologized for HIS EMPLOYEE mistake and tried to show me the menu with the price . As I told him first I didn’t even look at the menu I went to the cashier and I asked how much a piece of cake with GOLD was and I wasn’t complaining of pay $10 I was complaining of she charge me extra after I ate and also instead of telling me while just me and my husband at the store( which we stay for a little while only us and the employee), she waited to have others around. How about if it was another customer with no extra money ?? How about if I didn’t want to spend 400 baht on it ? That’s why I ASKED the pricing and PAID before eat. Now the owner wants makes the situation look like I agreed that wasn’t their fault??? NO Way , HE AGREED WITH ME and offered a coffee to make up, because I said I was completely upset with the experience and I was gonna give a bad review.. he tried to offered a coffee since I didn’t accept and said I just wanted to pay and leave that place and that situation and he is saying that wasn’t their fault ? If I was a bad person with no principles I could have just walked way and never come back, but I exchange the money and did come back .. opposite of the owner who tells you something in person then changes to make it look better to him . Yes staff needs better training how to approach customer, better English as well and no more...
