Sephora @ Central Phuket — Local services in Wichit

Gets two stars because they are the only Sephora in Phuket for now. The staff are not really interested in helping you. The fenty lipsticks are expired and smell like burnt lamb. The ysl lip sticks are all smashed up and they don’t bother changing them. They rarely update their products. And if you ask them a simple question, they reply “No have”. Sometimes if you are lucky, you get a sweet attentive staff. It’s like the hunger games...

Quite pricey compared to other outlets in the mall but the selection is quite varied and the visual merchandising / presentation is better. Plenty of staff to help you out and they don’t intrude unless they see that it’s needed or unless you ask. Their skincare line is fantastic and my wife comes here frequently for their make up stuff.

Talking about makeup, they don’t have many of the products in stock. “Coming soon” stickers everywhere. Ok, I can buy online but at least I’m visiting the shop to try samples. But they have no samples too. Many have been used up and not restocked. Even samples of Sephora brand are finished.
