This is a a must-visit place if you are in Bangkok.

Ambience - It’s a small cosy place running with 3-4 tables. Surrounded by so many antique arts, old photo frames, old stuff all around and a lot of plants. There are also 2 cats to entertain you. This is a perfect place for a date. The selection of music was amazing. Soft rock and then the owner switches to a love songs since I saw with my date ❤️. The owner is also a drumer and every Sunday there is a jam session.

Food- Superb choice of food. The soup was yummy with the right amount of spice in it. We tried a lot of dishes. Pork in sweet sauce, fish fry, shrimp soup and pork fried rice. The owner also gave us a complimentary clear soup to try ☺️. I usually avoid fish but the fish over here was amazing. We ate everything 😆. Every dish was prepared with a very unique taste. The food is priced well. We order 4 dishes and still, the bill was under 600tbh. My friend almost felt her dress will tear down cause of over eating 😂

The host was super friendly. Always smiling and taking an effort to understand our needs. Since I'm a foreigner he kept checking if it was too spicy for me.

Everything about the place was amazing.

How to reach- it's 500 mts from...

First night in Bangkok, we are searching for authentic food. Google leads us to this tiny place directly next to a bend in the street near our hotel. Only 4 tables inside, the cooking happens in front of the house. Cats outside and inside, that seem to guard the place sleeping. Insight an overwhelming mix of plastic memorabilia, mirrors, art and photographs, that serve as the surrounding story to tell people once back at home. We are unsure, what to order. In the end we get a Sprite, Coke, and two main dishes. We don’t know if we need to order rice as a side or if this is even usual in Bangkok, we do not, and FYI is unsurprisingly not included. Him and her, running the place seem an effective couple. Very friendly and very efficient. Shortly after, the food arrives. Only one word:

Delicious! The Stir fried chicken with Thai basil. Yum Yum. Hotness perfect for us. As if someone smacks you on the lips and you feel the afterburn. I don’t know how to describe the flavors but we licked the remaining sauce off the plate. The stir fired chicken still crispy in the sauce with veggies and chive. We definitively recommend this place. If the food level for the rest of our tour stays like...

Such a bad experience. The woman was so rude. This restaurant is in the middle of Bangkok, but they just accept cash. We choice this restaurant cuz we arrived in Bangkok at 8pm, we are super tired, but we were hungry, so we went to the restaurant which one is the most close to our hotel, then what we found, rude attitude and bad food. We walked 10 minutes to go to the ATM for pickup some cash for them, so we paid extra 250. But they didn’t tell us at the beginning. And also we thought they have some live music, but nothing at there and also nobody in the restaurant, so that’s what we got cuz their attitude and shit food. We will never back there again. When you saw my review, hope this kind of things won’t happened to you. Don’t go to this...

Creamy Thai green curry, served in a stylish bowl that contrasts nicely against a vibrant red tabletop. Tender slices of chicken are submerged in a fragrant coconut milk-based sauce, beautifully garnished with bright red chili peppers, a delicate flower, and fresh basil leaves, adding a pop of color and hint of fresh herby aroma. Sliced bamboo shoots provide a crunchy texture, while the kaffir lime leaves peeking from beneath add a citrusy depth to the complex flavors. The presentation is inviting, suggesting a balance of spicy, sweet, and savory notes typical of authentic Thai cuisine.
