I eat here once or twice a week when I am coming from or going to somewhere else. Its right off the Saphan Taksin BTS stop, which is where you pick up the Chao Phraya Riverboats and the Ferries. There are vendors lining the streets around Robinsons Department store, and a Food Court right behind Robinsons. Just head to the river off the BTS and turn right onto the last street before the river, you will see the Food Court and the street stalls. Just walk around the block and soak it in. The food in the food court is excellent and cheap, average about 40 baht per dish. There are also stalls selling clothes, mostly for women. I think it has improved since my last visit. It has more style of a Singapore Hawker stands area, but then cheaper . So successful renovation. Including new toilet system. So I mean the indoor food stall area of the market.

There is Thai food, Vietnamese food, and even Hamburgers. It's all there.

So good if you want to enjoy some cheap good food. Many stalls there is something for everyone and short walk from Saphan Taksin BTS.
