Masjid Haroon is a hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok, blending rich local-inspired Islamic architecture with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The mosque’s golden domes and traditional design create a sense of history and warmth. Inside, the prayer halls are beautifully maintained, with elegant Arabic calligraphy, intricate decor, and a serene ambiance perfect for worship.

The surrounding area adds to the charm—just steps from the mosque, you’ll find a variety of Halal eateries serving authentic local dishes, plus a friendly community vibe. At the mosque’s entrance, there’s a separate building that appears to host Islamic courses and community events, making it not only a place of worship but also a hub for learning and connection.

Its central location makes it an easy stop for travelers, and the people here are as chill and kind as you’d hope to find anywhere. Whether you come to pray, learn, or just soak in the atmosphere, Masjid Haroon leaves you with a...

“Ton Samrong”

We went during Eid Adha since we are away from home. Plenty of multi racial Thai speaking Muslim. On the day, the crowd were predominantly from African, India and obviously local.

To visit this mosque, need to search for French embassy. Or else, you need to stroll along houses before you will be able to reach to the mosque's compound.

Bought some pad Thai from the local store and the food...

Haroon Mosque was one of those Bangkok mosques which was a bit difficult to find. Luckily, people living near the mosques are often muslims, so they can guide the right way to the meshid. So, walking along narrow alleys you find Haroon Mosque which is very beautiful meshid, and absolutely worth of visit if you are interested to see something different mosque compared to basic style Arab meshids.
