I am SO IMPRESSED with SJ BEST SALON. I will be reviewing: HAIR, NAILS, LASHES below.

SUMMARY- 10/10 recommend for all services. And they take international credit cards which is rare!

HAIR: To start, I’m Canadian and biracial so I have curly hair. I’ve traveled all over Asia and have found it really challenging to find ANY salon that can work with curls. I’ve had my hair dyed, and blow dried / styled at SJ and they did a fantastic job. I didn’t have to micromanage or deflect comments about tangles or dryness like I have at so many other salons that didn’t understand curly hair. They knew exactly how to handle my hair and they were so gentle with my curls! On top of that, they have a variety of products so you can get ammonia free dyes and less damaging services.

LASHES: I have had my lashes done at a few places in Bangkok, and ended up at SJ because I was not happy with a previous place. They went above and beyond. They talked to me for quite awhile to get a clear idea of what I wanted and I LOVED my lashes. Then when I came back for a refill a few weeks later, they’d actually ordered longer lashes in especially for me, without me even asking! So sweet.

She listened carefully to what I wanted and offered great suggestions to enhance my look. The highlights came out perfect, and the cut is exactly what I envisioned.

The salon itself has a modern and chic atmosphere, making it a pleasure to spend time there. Everything was impeccably clean, and the ambiance was very relaxing. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, from the receptionist who greeted me warmly to the assistant who offered me a complimentary beverage.

One thing that stood out was the excellent customer service. Jane made sure I was comfortable throughout the process, checking in frequently and explaining each step. I also appreciated the little extras, like the scalp massage during the shampooing and the quality products they used.

This Salon has the appropriate name - SJ Best - because it’s the BEST. I have been living in Bangkok for ten years and have been their client for ten years! The service is excellent, the staff talented and very pleasant. There is no rush because they take their time to make sure everything is properly done. For example, I have short hair, but takes about thirty minutes to shampoo and longer when I do treatment. This is because we also get head and shoulder massages and they pay attention to all the details. One of the most amazing things about SJ Best Salon is that Jaeng the owner took the time to learn how to cut my type of hair. This was a life saver for me! There is a wide variety of nail polish colours and Lex is an expert with designs. My colleagues at work actually look forward to seeing my colour and design every fortnight! We all look forward to special holidays like Christmas and even Halloween! The price is reasonable and I leave feeling satisfied. Jaeng is very thoughtful and kind. For example, she understood our possible fears after the pandemic and did everything to make us feel comfortable, including offering times when there are usually very few clients.
