I stayed at Centrepoint Silom for the first time, earlier this year in May as a solo traveller. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at that time and decided to view the rooms for an upcoming trip planned for September. The front office staff was friendly and accommodating, and showed me four different suites to choose from. I eventually signed on as a member and booked a 2 bedroom premier suite for 6 pax and 2 family suites for another 6 pax. Planning for a large group of 12 was not easy, but the FOM, Mr. Thannasit, and Duty Manager, Ms. Nichapa, were very helpful in assisting with the arrangements. They ensured that the family would all be on the same floor with rooms located close to each other and also offered to arrange for our transfers to and from the hotel. From airport pick up to check in, everything went smoothly. The rooms were huge and a pleasant surprise for the family group - all rooms came with an attached kitchen, dining and living areas, clean and comfortable bath/toilets. The premier suite was even larger than my 3 bedroom apartment back home with 3 toilets and 2 showers. In the evenings, the entire family of 12 were able to comfortably gather in this large space. The hotel offers 24-hr in room dining, a restaurant, executive centre, gym and salt water swimming pool on the same level. It is in a convenient, safe location, just a 3 minute walk to the Saphan Thaksin BTS (Rapid Train) Station, a 4 storey mall below with restaurants and supermarket, street food and market just outside, local eateries and shops and quaint cafes with lots of charms in the side streets. Other travel options are calling a taxi or Grab car direct to the lobby or hop on one of the numerous Grab bikes just outside the mall. Whether you are travelling solo or in a large group, Centrepoint Silom should definitely be on top of your list for a very reasonably priced hotel in Bangkok that will check all the boxes for your comfort and convenience.

First of all, I would like to say we enjoyed our stay. But it could have been better. If everything went well I would say this hotel would be a 4.5 to 5 out of 5. But for our stay have to rate it a 3.5 out of 5. The following is the reason for the lower rating: On our third morning we woke up to a malfunction A/C with water dripping on the counter and onto the floor forming a pool. My belt bag and purse with all the contents inside were soaking wet because they were left on the counter from the previous night. The maintenance engineer with a ladder, vacuum, and suctioning pipe came right away. He vacuumed the water from the A/C, ceiling, and the floor, he then called the house keeping to come for the rest of the cleanup. Housing keeping came and wiped up the floor but not the counter. I was disappointed that none of the engineer, house keeping, nor the hotel management apologized for the incident nor about my soaking belt bag and purse. I had to hair dryer dry all the money, hung dry both the belt bag and purse for 2 days. My black belt bag dried without any issue, but my vanilla color purse dried with a water mark in the middle. So I was not and still not happy about it. It would have been nice if the hotel staff or management follow up and apologized for the inconvenience they have caused, but there was none. Anyway, we still enjoyed our stay due to the followings: -clean and nice hotel lobby with complement drinks and cookies -friendly lobby staff: Sydney allowed us for early check at noon, and Alex was always smiling while greeting the guest as we come in or going out -Bell and front door service were always polite and friendly -spacious and clean (except A/C situation) family suite -gym and swimming pool -convenient location: next to a shopping plaza with a food court, lots of restaurants close by, close to BTS and Sathorn Pier for ferries.

Stayed here for a few times. So far so good. Other then stuffs is old and not working no other complain. Stayed here for a few times. So far so good. Other then stuffs is old and not working, no other complain. Updated Feb 2025, This is the 3rd or 4th time that i've stayed here. This time round, i've stayed for 10 days. Hotel had been partially renovated, not sure if its an improvement. It's good that refreshment are now avaliable at main lobby, staffs services seems to have improved as well. Room wise, the partition between bed room and living is no longer foldable, resulting in being unable to watch tv on bed anymore. I felt that the renovation seems working backward. Tv channels are lesser, often having connection problem. Screen mirroring is for android users only. Not for IOS user. Washing machine has been removed which is a huge problem for anyone staying for over a week. However, the managment offered a laundry service offset value after explaining to them that the washing machine was stated as a facilicity during time of booking and that I was not inform of about this change. Usb charging ports are now avaliable beside the bed which reduce the need to carry travel adapters. When getting up from bath tub using the handle for support, i nearly slipped as the bath tub handle is very loose and could potentially cause serious injury. The toilet door does not close properly. Some force required to have it properly closed. Bath robe was not changed for 10 days. It really stinks. Not expecting it to be changed daily, but at least once every few days. It’s advisable to choose river view instead of city viewing room which is facing the main road which you can hear loud exhaust noise from those modified vehicle. I am no longer sure about staying there again.

The ONLY area that one might call grand and of 4 star quality is the bathroom which includes a nice high tech toilet. With the recent superficial, "lipstick on a pig", renovations in the rooms they removed the washing machine from the "grand" suite. The "renovations" to the "grand" suite are mostly cosmetic; fresh new paint, in one area a new floor. The kitchen/dinning area which is closed off from the sitting area contains a table and 4 frumpy looking chairs and the only thing on the walls is a mirror. While there is an electrical outlet near the table it is inconveniently placed so to plug in your phone or laptop the cord has to be dangled across the walkway to one side of the table. The sitting area is also devoid of anything on the walls, just blank walls. The only furniture is a small 2 person sofa, what we call a love seat in the US, along with a coffee table; nothing else whatsoever, barren, lots of empty unused floor space, nowhere for guests to sit except on the bare floor, not at all grand. There are absolutely no electrical outlets in the sitting area, nowhere to plug in a laptop or cell phone to charge! The sitting area has 4 ceiling mount lights which can be on or off, no dimming, and not in the best positions to provide light to read by while sitting or trying to lay down crunched up on the small sofa. The bedroom area has just a bed along with a desk and chair with a lot of empty unused floor space. Except for over the bed there is nothing on the walls, bare and boring. There is no tv in the "grand" suite bedroom so no watching any late night tv in bed. Like the sitting area the 7 ceiling lights are all on or all off, no control at all, just bright harsh light. No bedside reading lamps. The desk does not have a desk lamp. No mirror above the desk so that perhaps where you could apply makeup. Nowhere else in the "grand" suite to sit and put on makeup which my wife didn't like. The large dressing area has 2 builtin wardrobes with nothing else, no mirror, no place to put on makeup, no electrical outlets. No other suitcase rack or other bench, etc provided in this "grand" suite. Like the rest of the "grand" suite nothing on the walls in the entrance area or bathroom areas making for a very sterile, uninviting place to stay. The poor lighting situation also leads to an uncomfortable stay as does the lack of electrical outlets essential in today's phone, tablet, laptop world. Except for the bathroom the other areas of the "grand" suite are what you might find in a mediocre three star hotel, not at this supposedly 4 star property that brands itself as "Plus", seriously? One also needs to be aware of the poor elevator service at the hotel which has only 2 small; 6 or squeeze in 8 people, elevators for guest use. You have to be quick to jump into the elevator when it comes because the doors slam shut very quickly which might also be a dangerous situation. Of course, the management made the elevator service worse when last year the "real" Grand Suite we stayed in 2 years ago was made into a Family Suite where they packed in more beds in the sitting area making more heads in beds and more traffic on the 2 small elevators. Yet the hotel continues to use some of those old photos of the real Grand Suite on their website and on booking websites, buyer beware. Now turning to some things at least in the hotel if not in the "grand" suite that are 4 star. The bountiful, quality breakfast buffet with the manager and staff is an excellent experience including a nice view of the Bangkok skyline through a wall of windows overlooking the pool. All of the management and staff that we met on site live up to a 4 star experience. But these few areas do not makeup for not being able to comfortable read in bed or watch tv, work at a desk and watch tv, or read comfortably in the sitting area, let alone have friends come to talk in the sitting area. No, this is NOT a "grand" suite by any stretch of the imagination. ed that the package...

I recently stayed at the Centre Point Hotel Silom in Bangkok, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. This hotel truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. Here’s a detailed review of my stay:

Excellent Location

Centre Point Hotel Silom boasts an ideal location in the heart of Bangkok. It's situated near the Chao Phraya River, offering easy access to the city’s vibrant cultural and commercial districts. The hotel is conveniently close to the BTS Skytrain Saphan Taksin station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Additionally, the nearby riverboat pier provides a scenic and enjoyable way to visit attractions like the Grand Palace and Wat Arun.

Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

The rooms at Centre Point Hotel Silom are impressively spacious and well-appointed. My room featured a modern design with tasteful decor and high-quality furnishings. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room also included a well-equipped kitchenette, which was perfect for preparing light meals or snacks. The large windows offered stunning views of the city and the river, adding to the overall appeal.

Impeccable Cleanliness and Facilities

Cleanliness is a top priority at this hotel, and it shows. The entire property, from the lobby to the rooms, is impeccably maintained. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping my room spotless throughout my stay. The hotel also offers a range of fantastic facilities, including a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and a cozy library lounge. These amenities provided the perfect balance of relaxation and recreation.

Delicious Breakfast

The breakfast at Centre Point Hotel Silom is a highlight. Served in a pleasant dining area, the buffet offers a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. From freshly baked pastries and bread to a selection of hot items, fruits, and salads, the quality and variety of the food were impressive. The staff in the dining area were attentive and ensured that everything was well-stocked and organized.

Outstanding Service

The service at Centre Point Hotel Silom is truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a high level of professionalism. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, providing valuable information about local attractions and transportation options. They also assisted with any requests I had promptly and efficiently. The concierge service was equally impressive, helping me arrange tours and transportation with ease.

Value for Money

Considering the excellent location, spacious rooms, top-notch facilities, and outstanding service, Centre Point Hotel Silom offers great value for money. The quality of the experience far exceeds what you might expect for the price, making it a fantastic choice for both short and extended stays in Bangkok.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Centre Point Hotel Silom is a superb hotel that delivers on all fronts. Its prime location, spacious and comfortable rooms, impeccable cleanliness, delicious breakfast, and outstanding service make it a top choice for anyone visiting Bangkok. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, you will find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Centre Point Hotel Silom and look forward to returning on my next...

We travelled very often to Bangkok and since I was a kid I've been staying at Centre Point Hotel Pratunam whenever we travelled to Bangkok. And now twenty years later with a family of my own Centre Point is still my first choice. This year we stayed at Centre Point Hotel Silom. As always, the hotel & service is top notch. Every employee of the hotel is friendly and accommodating. They make you feel very welcoming.

The hotel is connected to Robinsons mall. Which makes it very convenient for currency exchange and getting daily essentials. There are various eateries such as street food, restaurants, cafes, dessert shops and food courts right in front of Robinsons. It is within a walking distance from the hotel along with pharmacies, cosmetics shops and convenient stores such as the infamous 7 Eleven. The best part of the hotel's location is that it's not too far from the city centre and shopping/tourist hot spots.

If you are travelling with your own vehicle there is free parking which is shared with Robinson's mall but it is located at the very top of the parking lot and it is more spacious. There is easy access to public transport (bus and train) and taxi/tuk tuk service. The ferry stop is only a walking distance from the hotel which is one of the unique tours to see more of Bangkok sites and landmarks.

The hotel is very well maintained and renovations are done from time to time. The room is spacious and is an apartment-hotel styled setting. We stayed at the deluxe room with a balcony facing the city. You could also choose for a river view. There is a mini kitchen with sink, stove, cabinets, dining table for 2, a single door fridge with freezer and tableware provided. The bathroom has a shower space, bath tub and smart toilet. Queen sized bed, wardrobe, make up vanity table and a sofa. Other amenities provided such as safe box, hair dryer, television, iron and toiletries.

The breakfast is a buffet styled setting. With a combination of asian and western cuisines. It is very delicious. With various selections of warm meals, dim sum, congee & noodle station, salad & fruit bar, cereal & oats, pastry, egg station, a few vegetarian selections, variety of juice and freshly brewed coffee. The omelette is a MUST HAVE! I've been to many hotels and none ever made as perfect as the Chef in Centre Point.

Other facilities available at the hotel are gym, swimming pool, childrens play room, spa & massage parlour and meeting/conference room.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Every employee from the receptionist to the bellman, security, waiter & waitresses, chef & cooks, maintenance technician and housekeeper were very hospitable and has an excellent service. This why Centre Point Hotel is one of the best places to stay when you're visiting Bangkok. We feel at home here and looking forward to staying with them...
