Nalin Kitchen | Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Si Lom Subdistrict

I was in this location & searching for a quick bite when I was able to see this place . I always want a Proper meal during my Lunch & dinner . Sometimes it does become difficult considering the different aspect like the food variety , Price , Standards & Hospitality . All combined Seems difficult but when you search you do get it 😀

I was Staying in Holiday inn Express which is half a km from this place , approx 10 mins walk . Though you can always order food online but the joy of walking through the street shops , People & knowing their local culture helps you know the city better.

This restaurent Looks okay from outside but once inside you feel very good , Very calm & Lovely vibes . Simple reason being inspite of being in heavy traffic area on the main road, it's quite inside . The Prices are very reasonable but the atmosphere is very much for the family & solo people like me who want to enjoy their food .

So I wanted to have a Combo of Rice , chicken & Salad & the lady helped me find one . The price I paid was 95 Baht . Filling , tasty & well Presented is the 3 words I can use for my food served. I was impressed by their service levels & the cleanliness they had maintained .

I had the pleasure of visiting Nalin Kitchen recently, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience.

The atmosphere at Nalin Kitchen is welcoming and cozy. The place exudes a relaxed ambiance that is perfect for sitting back and savoring culinary delights. The interior decor is tasteful and subtly reflects Thai culture.

Now, onto the highlight: the food. As a lover of Thai cuisine, I had high expectations, and Nalin Kitchen more than met them. The dishes were perfectly balanced in flavor and had just the right amount of spices. The quality of ingredients was evident, and the preparation was top-notch.

The service also deserves praise. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. They took the time to explain the various dishes and even provided recommendations based on our preferences. It was clear that they take pride in offering a great experience to their guests.

All in all, my visit to Nalin Kitchen was an absolute highlight. I highly recommend it, both for Thai food enthusiasts and those looking to try this delicious cuisine for the first time. I'm already looking forward to my next visit...

To us, the food is rather overrated with the Google rating. Was it that their standards dropped? We noticed that it is frequented mainly by tourists only.

Ordered the crab fried rice, yellow curry with crab, omelette with pork and taro balls desert. The crab fried rice is the most disappointing. It is really bland which is rather unusual for Thai standards. The yellow curry with crab is too oily and the amount of crab meat is very scarce. The omelette is nice but there is virtually no trace of pork and is also too oily. Look at the amount of oil left on our empty plates. Lastly the taro balls are okie but abit too starchy for our liking.

Generally food is alright but we honestly expected much more. We believe that it is catered more for Westerners. Ambience is nice tho and service is not bad. Expect some waiting time during...
