I had possibly the creepiest, most harrowing customer service experience of my life here. They don't accept credit cards, which is bizarre given a portion of their customers are tourists and it is common sense to make it easy for your customers to transact with you. That day the ATM networks were down, so I returned a day later - when I was able to withdraw cash - to pay. Five days later, the same waiter spotted me across the street and harassed me for payment. He made ludicrous claims I hadn't paid, that the money owed was to him (not Canari). He would not accept my explanation that I settled the bill four days earlier, to one of his colleagues. Sadly, no matter how lovely a holiday can be, experiences like this, with waiters that behave with a creepy sense of entitlement and negative attitude, can become the underlying experience of your vacation.
