Beautiful little streets, alleyways and paths with cherry blossom trees and flowers hanging from sides of walls. Unfortunately there are a lot of pushy salespeople pretty much hassling you and forcing an intersection which can become quite tiring and annoying. Some nice shops with shopkeepers of a more tranquil, calmer demeanour where you can actually buy some pretty items for a reasonable price.
Must always have to negotiate on prices otherwise you’d be paying extortionate prices. Eg. Women’s traditional dresses of a good quality bought for 25 dinars, some others selling for 65. It's nice inside and quite peaceful. There is information posters inside on the places of interest. There is a place to buy a limited number of books to the left as you enter the quadrangle which appeared to be quite interesting. Once inside, You climb up the stairs and walk around the walls to get great views of the surrounding area. Ladies and gent toilets inside the walls by the stairs. Some were nice and not so pushy while others would block your path 4 to 5 times before actually conceding that you were just going for a walk.
