We asked them about the price of three pieces of desserts, they told us 290 lira for total, we asked them the price of water, one told us 25 lira and another one said 55 lira. As we were in rush for our boat, we didn’t sense the scam but grabbed our box and just left. After we open the box, there’s only one pice of the dessert and they still charged us 290 lira. We are tourists and bought ice cream here, but the experience was very disappointing. The cup was extremely small, with a tiny spoon and very little ice cream inside. We paid 180 lira for 2 cups, which felt way too expensive for what we got. The taste was also not good, nothing special at all. I’ve had decent experiences here and great experiences. When I first came to Istanbul I stopped by this location and the staff were quite stingy with portions. Most recently they were great, allowed me to sample two flavors, and then gave me a very generous serving.
