Mado — Restaurant in Şişli

Extremely rude waiter. I sat down and waited for a few minutes whilst waiter cleaned around me, ignoring me totally. The restaurant wasn't even busy. I eventually asked for a menu and he just gruffly pointed at a little sign written in Turkish with a barcode on it. He didn't utter as much as a single word in terms of assistance for someone who is clearly a tourist and doesn't speak Turkish. He immediately took off. I assume the barcode is how one orders during the times that are in it but a little explanation and a tiny bit of grace wouldn't have gone amiss.

Have no idea what the food is like as I left immediately....

I saw the scooter pull up moments ago, the rider dismount, pull his leather satchel around to the front of his chest, adjust his pants, and peer around his surroundings as if to get a sense of who was watching. I knew his ultimate plan, he did not know of my existence, and it would be soon before our paths crossed in a most unusual way. Went twice but no more. I will admit dessert I had was okay. But both times I went I had to change my decision because they didn't have a first option I liked. The seats are stained. The second visit was worse. Rude waiter was kind of snobby and made us rush. No problem I just won't go back. See ya! They are not the only nice dessert place in town. To some people good friendly service in a clean place...
