If you‘re in Istanbul and crave good Italian food, this is the place you should go. There are a lot of Italian restaurants that advertise good food just because they are owned by this or that celebrity chef. Mostly they don‘t even deserve the hype. But Zucca has an authentic approach to Italian food with only the best ingredients which they buy from Italy or well known suppliers in Turkey. The pizzas come in varieties that are suitable for everyone. Even if you are a meat lover the vegetarian options will blow your taste buds. My personal favorite is the pepperoni pizza to which I have mushrooms added. My second favorite meal is the Carbonara with pork bacon. It’s the real deal. Most places make them with cream (??) , chopped beef ham and no egg, which cannot be further from authenticity. The pasta varieties are delightful. I snagged a ravioli from a friend’s plate and it was also great. Everytime I eat there I try new things and end up eating way too much. But, the grand finale is always a dessert. My personal favorite is the Panna Cotta with berries. The smooth creamy texture with real vanilla and the berries create a delightful explosion for which my taste buds thank me profoundly. All in all, as a former gourmet journalist I recommend for you to eat here at least once. You will not be disappointed....

Zucca Pizza is a restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine, particularly pizza and pasta. I recently visited and had a mixed experience with both positives and a few negatives.
Positives:
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Nişantaşı, making it easily accessible and ideal for a casual outing.
The design is simple and elegant without being overdone.
Cleanliness was excellent, which is always a top priority for me when evaluating a restaurant.
Negatives:
I ordered the Frutti di Mare pasta along with a soft drink. Honestly, the pasta didn’t live up to expectations — I’d rate it 3 out of 5.
The bill was relatively high for what I got: 925 Turkish Liras (around 29 USD) for just one pasta and a cola.
Another issue was the service. Unfortunately, the staff were not welcoming or friendly, which is sadly a common issue I’ve noticed in many places across Turkey.
Overall, it’s a place worth trying if you’re a fan of Italian pizza, but I hope to see improvements in customer service and the quality-to-price ratio of...
Read moreRipping off at its finest ! Check the prices before ordering bcz we got charged for a bottle of San Pelegrino water 595tl !!! That’s 16e for a water ! Not even in a Michelin restaurant you pay that price 😳 manager/owner didn’t bother at all , he told us this is Zucca and you pay this price with a story that water cost him 400tl to import but actually you can buy it at Migros supermarket for 150tl 😂 he told us that’s impossible , to take a picture and send him , so I did below. It’s so unnecessary to lie to your customers. We understand the prices went up everywhere in Türkiye but other thing is shamelessly changing some items. Anyways we have been coming to Zucca for the past 4 years as we live in the neighborhood but after today’s treatment this place is a big NO. Great way of loosing customers 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Food wise : Very good pizza ,...
