Decent food, appalling service
We visited here last week for a late lunch. The good was decent but we found the service to be both poor and, at the end of the meal, rude. The waiter wouldn't accept that we wanted to order in stages rather than order everything at once (we do this as we've learnt the hard way that you can get everything delivered at the same time and dishes go cold) and he kept on pushing us to order more.
We had to remind d him to bring the glass of wine. When the meal finishes he made a big point of saying that service wasn't included in the bill (he meant a tip wasn't included) and we pointed out the service was very poor and we weren't going to leave a tip.
He then proceeded to harass us multiple times to try and make us leave him a tip. Very rude. We won't be coming back to this...
Read moreThis was our fourth time at the restaurant. We had first visited in 2022 and then a second time in 2023. During our 5 day stay in Istanbul in 2024, we visited the restaurant twice as the food is exceptional and unmatched. It was the first restaurant we wanted to visit when we came to Istanbul this trip. The best Asian food in Istanbul for sure. We have tried other asian cuisine restaurants in Istanbul which have not met expectations however, sushi co is always brilliant. We have tried multiple items on the menu and we have never been disappointed. Exceptional staff also. I would like to say a special thanks to Yücel and Kumsal for being so kind and friendly. Definitely recommend visiting the Nisantasi branch for the exceptional service and food. Thank you for having us and we will see you...

The worst part was when I mentioned my concerns to the waiter, they insisted that nothing had changed. Only the shrimp gyoza provided a glimmer of hope, being tasty and tender.
Overall, I won't be coming back to SushiCo. The decline in quality, especially with their signature salmon dishes, left me...
