Hungry — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

Full of surprises : 1- They served 2 plates with avocado... without avocado (without telling us). Surprised, we asked and “ah yes we don’t have avocado anymore” ... And they charged the full price for those plates 2- The brioche bread with crumble and strawberry was Rotten. Health hazard type rotten. With green wildlife growing on it (see picture)

• Absolutely no “sorry” was ever said
• Extremely rude server saw it and said “it’s not me, maybe they put a sauce in the bread” took it back to the kitchen... and it never came back 3- Americano coffee and Orange Juice were served in a glass 100% full of ice... not much space left for anything else. Maybe ice is now more hype than coffee or oranges, I don’t know. 4- (Bonus) Prices are quite expensive.

We could have forgiven everything if an apology had been made, or a commercial gesture... any sense of humanity. But everything together was too much.

Other than that their tomato egg and mozzarella plate was quite tasty, so if after this you still want to go and are a thrill...

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. While the food was fine, the service was appalling, showing a complete lack of regard for customer care. As a coeliac, I asked the waiter if a particular dish was gluten-free, and he assured me it was, so I placed my order. However, when the dish arrived, it was clearly some kind of dumpling, which obviously contained gluten. I sent it back and ordered a proper gluten-free dish.

Given the language barrier, I would have let it go, but when the bill arrived, I was charged for both dishes. We explained the situation to the waitress using Google Translate, but she told us the boss insisted we pay for both, and we weren't even allowed to speak to the boss directly.

I don't typically write negative reviews, but being forced to pay for a dish I had to return due to a clear mistake—especially after clarifying my allergy in...

Hungry is simply outstanding! The food is exceptional, with a menu offering a wide variety of delicious options. The poached eggs over avocado toast are the best I've ever had in my life—perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Also I recommend to try granola there, they do it in an outstanding way.

The hospitality is top-notch. The staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, perfect for any occasion.

Every time I visit Istanbul, this is the first place I go. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable...
