Monster Teashop — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

Obviously not a Turkish culture and staff is not being trained about flavors. Whatever I asked, required some additional payment. You want Boba they will charge you separately, you want less ice in your tea this place will also charge you 7 liras or something, you want different milk, plus additional charge! Overly complicated process, whoever the manager of this place, just come up with some general pricing policy for each item and change the price based on size of the glass like S, M, L, XL. I observed some local customers in front and behind me shopping for the tea, they were overwhelmed not only with unfamiliar flavors but also with complicated pricing policies. Anyways, have been drinking various teas across the world and non of the tea shops were so complex with purchasing simple flavored tea with starchy bubbles in it. Lack of trained personnel is obvious. For the condensed milk used in Thai ice tea which is also milk but reduced with sugar, the cashier was insisting that Thai tea option does not contain any milk but milk jam instead=(süt...

Tried their bubble tea when they first opened and got the monster boba tea with almond milk and found it to be too sweet for my liking so I was told that I could ask for it to be less sweet next time. I finally got the chance to come back today and tried to order the monster boba tea with almond milk again with less sugar this time only to be that I could only have fresh milk with their brown sugar boba which I found odd since they did it the first time. I was reluctant but seeing that I had no other choice since I am extremely lactose intolerant so I agreed and that was a huge mistake! The drink was just brown sugar, boba and lactose intolerant milk instead of almond milk. It was disgusting and super sweet despite asking for half the sugar. If you're going to make a suggestion why would you suggest something completely different to my original order? I asked for milk tea and got just milk like a child! Needless to say the few sips of the drink I had made me feel nauseated and sick to my stomach so I won't be coming back and can't...

The place exceeded my expectations This is the first boba shop i go to in turkey so i cant really compare it to other boba shops here but it does feel like asian boba shop in far east asia

Overall experience:9/10 Drinks: we had two Brown sugar boba : 8.5/10 The blue drink : 8/10

The Ratings are my personal preference, but they are equally delicious and well-made

Hygiene : 8/10 Hospitality:7/10 friendly in general but one of them was mean when we tried to take some photos .. we understand that they dont prefer having photos taken while they prepare the order but it would’ve been nice if he said it in another way And therefore i wont post them

Prices: 8/10 very affordable we had the brown sugar boba in tall and the blue one in medium both total around 5$

Ps. They charge more if you take your drink with no ice … because they would have to use...
