Major disappointment from begging to the end!

We booked our New year Gala dinner here expecting nothing out of ordinary, civilised nice environment,polite and attentive service and lovely food.We have received none of it! We have arrived around 21:30 due to traffic congestion.We were lead to the table we booked through their portal ahead which was fine.Although restaurant had enough servers just few of them had English.8 course fine dinning dinner set menu was bad at best.Food was cold,bread old,cocktails and mocktails pre prepared not freshly done,gaps between dishes sometimes 15 minutes, waiters forgetting to change dirty silverware leaving you without cutlery, glasses empty not been refilled with water etc...But what struck me the most was the pretentious behaviour of the server who was borderline rude.Live music was not appropriate for the venue.We were literally looking to end this agony as soon as possible and I asked for the bill shortly after. We then moved to the table of the couple next to us to celebrate new year's eve together and found that they had same bad experience tonight even though they are guests of this hotel for number of years.We then wanted to go onto the terrace but doors were locked so I had to ask bell boy to unlock those doors for me which he did, but then he locked us out and we couldn't go back in. From the short time we have spent in the hotel it was evident that there was lack of attention to detail,lack of training,lack of supervision and no management whatsoever.

Terrible costumer service and arrogance is the word.

There are much better places along the Bosphorus than Tugra.

Last weekend I went with my Wife to have dinner at Tugra. Imponent building, beautiful table setting... We were served different courses of meal.

Unfortunately the grilled Grouper fish I was served was not good. I got food poisoning which lead me to the hospital after.

Considering that I haven’t eaten anything before and after my meal and the Doctor diagnosed me with food poisoning I called the Restaurant to let them know about it and avoid other costumers having the same problem.

Although, my good intentions were not taken in account and the “called Restaurant Manager” categorically denied food poisoning being caused by the Grouper Fish served to me.

Most probably he thought that I was looking for a compensation which I don’t need (fortunately I have plenty of money to pay for any dinner that I would like to have at their restaurant).

I just wanted to alert other people. Simple as that.

The staff attitude was disgraceful. Denying the facts and not showing any compassion for a client that after all, helps to keep their business running.

Arrogance was the word. Terrible costumer service.

Definitely will not come back. And recommend people to look for other places in...

Came with friends as I was hosting my husband's birthday dinner. Everything was off - the service, the attention to needs, and most and utterly unforgivable - the food. Let me clarify, my dish was terrible as there was a hard piece of plastic mixed in a dish.

We had a reservation at 2130 and were greeted poorly by the maitre'd. We were quickly seated and given menus. The waiter came and asked for our orders. I asked if we could order cocktails to be told the kitchen was closing soon and he needed food first.

Food came and everyone seemed to enjoy. I received mine with some plastic trash in it. I do know that mistakes can happen and give grace usually. However this time (after being treated poorly and having chewed on plastic in a puréed eggplant dish), and considering this was a 2 star Michelin restaurant, I was done.

We brought everything to the attention of the manager. He was shocked. Unfortunately the experience was lost.

I will say apologies were received from the chef and manager and the staff tired to recover the poor service. Such a disappointing experience. It was also embarrassing as I was hosting the dinner.

Total failure of a dinner, experience, and celebration.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Find better. Cirağon Palace should be embarrassed. This is not...
