Dolmabahçe Cafe — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

Never in my life have I felt so blatantly robbed by a café. The service was abysmal—slow, inattentive, and outright miserable. We waited forever for a simple order, despite there being only 3 occupied tables out of 12-15, with maybe 10 people inside. To top it all off, they forced an 85 Turkish Lira ‘service tax’ on us—a joke, considering the service was nonexistent. We’re not in Capri, and this isn’t about the amount—it’s about the audacity to tack on a fee for nothing. Tips should never be mandatory; they’re earned, not extorted. The check took 20 minutes to arrive after we asked twice. The bathroom was filthy, sticky, and reeked. And the prices? Completely unjustifiable for such mediocre products. This place is an insult to the hospitality industry. Avoid at all costs if you value your time, money, or basic respect...

One of the worst places I’ve ever been to! Although you have to pay 85 lira for the service, the service is non-existent. We had to wait 15 minutes for 4 slices of cake (the cake was in the fridge at the main entrance, they did not have to cook it on the spot and there were only 3 tables full, so not so many customers). The guy who was serving was playing on his phone. We had to ask twice for the check because the first time he forgot. The toilet was literally disgusting! The place is also disgusting, a lot of smoke because you can smoke inside, cats jumping on your jackets/ coats and on the tables and mess on almost all the empty tables. Run away...

The service was so bad, I didn't even wait to be served and left. First I'm in the middle of saying hi and if I should order first or sit first or sth and the staff just roles his eyes and doesn't even let me finish before motioning me to follow him. Then I sit down for 10 minutes or so and nothing. No menu, no nothing. Like I have worked as a waiter before I know how customer service works and I didn't have net to check the qr code so I eventually just got up and left while I saw the waiter just looks at me from other side...
