Istanbul used to be covered in hole in the wall street food type places. A lot less of them now. You dont go to them for the decor or food presentation. Many people assume that because many of them look old, they must be dirty also. Here ticks those boxes that many people run away from. Dont.. try here if you like grilled meats.

This is the place to be in Istanbul. I stayed for three nights, and I went there all three nights. I liked the fact that it stays open until 3:30 a.m., is reasonably priced, and has a very local and authentic late-night food vibe. I never expected a restaurant that stays open so late to be this good.

I’m very picky when it comes to food and don’t usually get kebab unless it’s exceptional. Plus, I have a fragile stomach and great sensitivity to spices. But this place is legit—they use fresh ingredients: meat, salad, yogurt—everything. I love this place.
