Yöremiz Pide Lahmacun — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

I was staying in the area for some time and I passed by this place and the smell caught my attention because it reminded me of Manoushe bakeries back home, it smells the same!

Next day in the morning I went and I ordered for take away since they don't offer dine in, I had White cheese with vegetables, Kavurma with cheese, and Spinach with cheese. I paid around 250₺ for all three which is a very good price for breakfast in Istanbul especially with this quality. (Later I discovered they have Zaatar, I tried it it's exactly like zaatar manoushe)

So it's a wooden oven, the portion is very generous, it's big and it's one of the best pide I've tried, made me very nostalgic to my home country. And it's so fresh and delicious!

Now every time I'm in the area I make sure I drop by and order some....

Good food for very small money. We got 1 pide with sucuk and cheese, 1 with minced meat and cheese, and 1 lahmacun for 62 TL (1 July 2022). It was actually less than listed in the menu. We never experienced that in Turkey. Usually they always try to cheat you, but these people are really honest men and also look very proud of what they offer. The downsides of the restaurant are that they only offer takeout (we bought drinks at the stand near to the restaurant and ate there) and don't really care about hygiene during cooking and packing process (touching money, body parts, mobile phone and whatever they come cross during delivery with same hands touching the food). And maybe some might feel the food is not seasoned well (that's also what I felt in general in Istanbul), but they attach salt and...

What is this strange place? Why are so many people here? That's what I thought as I passed by, and then I smelled it... It was very inviting, so I went inside. This place turned out to be a pide bakery, which can be ordered in a dozen or so variants visible on the wall. Right next to them you can also see the prices, which are radically different from those in other bakeries. However, you can't eat here, pide is only available for takeaway. I ordered it, after a few minutes I came out with my loot and started consuming it. Freshly baked pide, crispy, hot and with a range of delicious ingredients... It was truly something perfect, so it's worth stopping here for a snack and continuing to explore the...
