مطعم سيء الخدمة وسيء المذاق وسيء الادارة، ذهبت انا وصاحبي وكان من ضمن الطلب صحن حمص ( ليس له مذاق ولا يشبه الحمص ، كان على الاغلب مخلوط بالطحين وليس الطحينة ) الصحن الاخر كان طلب مقلوبة ( جاءت المقلوبة عبارة عن صحن ارز وضع فوقه شرائح باذنجان مفلي ومن ثم لحمة مسلوقة ) وعند اعتراضنا على الطبق مسؤول المطعم كان اسلوبه في التبرير سيء ويدافع عن باطل ، واجاب احنا عنا هيك المقوبة وكأنه اخترع مقلوبة من نفسه ) ادارة المطعم فاشلة بدل ان تحترم عقل الناس والزبون ذهبت للتبرير بطريقة عنجهية ولو اطلنا معهم النقاش اعتقد انهم كانوا ليعتدوا علينا بالايدي. A terrible restaurant with bad service, bad taste, and poor management. My friend and I went there, and among our orders was a plate of hummus (which had no taste and didn’t resemble real hummus—it was likely mixed with flour instead of tahini). The other dish was Maqluba, which turned out to be just a plate of rice with fried eggplant slices placed on top and then boiled meat added.

When we objected to the dish, the restaurant manager responded with a terrible attitude, trying to justify the unacceptable and insisting, “This is how we make Maqluba,” as if he had invented his own version of it. Instead of respecting the customers’ intelligence, the management chose to defend their mistakes in an arrogant manner. Had we continued the discussion, I believe they might have even resorted to physical aggression

Berbat bir restoran! Kötü hizmet, kötü tat ve kötü yönetim. Bir arkadaşımla birlikte gittik ve siparişlerimiz arasında humus da vardı. (Ne tadı vardı ne de gerçek humusa benziyordu—muhtemelen tahin yerine unla karıştırılmıştı.) Diğer siparişimiz Maqluba idi, ancak gelen tabak sadece pilavın üzerine dizilmiş kızarmış patlıcan dilimleri ve haşlanmış etten ibaretti.

Yemeğe itiraz ettiğimizde, restoran yetkilisi kötü bir üslupla savunmaya geçti ve “Bizde Maqluba böyle yapılır” diyerek kabul edilemez bir şekilde kendini haklı çıkarmaya çalıştı. Sanki yeni bir Maqluba icat etmiş gibi davrandı! Yönetim, müşteri zekasına saygı duymak yerine kibirli bir şekilde hatalarını savundu. Tartışmayı uzatsaydık, muhtemelen fiziksel saldırıya bile...

If you are vegan and wandering around Taksim and suddenly get hungry, Tarbus is a great spot for a quick, filling bite. They serve the creamiest hummus and a decent portion of falafel that comes with a fresh salad. Prices are in line with Taksim standards, I spent around $10 for a drink, falafel and hummus, and they are open late.
